Piney Woods members are asked to make ornaments for the Mardi Gras tree that Pam Word will be bringing to the Lone Star Gourd Festival on October 18 in Fredericksburg, Tx. 

We have seventeen ornaments but we want our tree to be loaded with great gourd ornaments.

Gail Adams cut some amazing jazz notes out of gourd pieces and Mary Ellen has sewn some exquisite beaded gourds. Belva crafted a voodoo doll!
