Vikings Fall to New Lows

Week 4 [10.04.05]

Rhode Island 129 Rocko 93
The Ridicule offense got back on track. Peyton Manning tossed for 29 points. Terrell Owens and Eddie Kennison combined for 44 more. The Bengals suffer their first loss of the season, leaving Seattle as the only unbeaten team. Holt led the scoring with 17. The Cincinatti defense came through with 13 points. The coaching staff was puzzled by the decision to leave McNabb's 25 on the bench in favor of Carson Palmer, who air it out for 11.

Green Bay 80 Cranville 57
3 wins in a row for the Slackers. Favre threw for 30 points, with Driver catching 16. Only 2 points from third back Ron Dayne in 3 weeks is cause for concern. The Wolverine offense is just not in sync. Darrell Jackson managed 15 points, but key players Branch and Graham combined for only one point.

Seattle 117 Helena 109
The Slimy Slugs stiff arm the Hobbits. San Franciso's defense brings in 20 points. Marvin Harrison receives 26, and LT contributes 22. The Hobbits manager ole'd by leaving Rackers 23 points on the bench in Mexico City. Plaxico Burress led the league with 32 points.

Hellespont 84 Detroit 63
The Trojans get their first victory. Fitzgerald hauls in 18, with Steven Jackson close behind with 17. Cadillac Williams injury is a concern, with precious little RB depth. The Trojans have had a total of 2 points from their third back in 4 weeks. Detroit's lack of receiver depth proved costly. Horn did not play. Willis McGahee led the Drive with 12 points.

Timbuktu 103 Kalamazoo 80
The Vikings' ship is sinking. Vital veterans Fred Taylor and Tony Gonzalez combined for 3 points. Timbutku had a great team outing. Jake Plummer led the Buccaneer offense with 14 points.

Wisconsin 133 West Palm Beach 50
Wisconsin goes wild! Team owner Sue said "this is a flash of brilliance-what this team can be." Sue later added with a grin "they just need me to kick their asses all day." Dante Hall dashed for 27, and Galloway added 21. West Palm Beach is floundering. The flurry of early transactions may be haunting this team. Crayton led the team with 10 points.

Coach of the Week: Rhode Island Ridicule
Player of the Week: Plexico Burress (WR-Hna)
