Hellespont 133, Rhode Island 105
The Trojan offense suddenly looks like USC. Tom Brady threw for 20. The trio of Fitzgerald,
Wayne and Curtis combined for 55. The Denver Defense dominated for 24 points. Shayne Graham booted 16
points.
The Ridicule tied for fourth for points for the week, but still lose. Peyton Manning lofted for
23 points. Eddie Kennison contributed 18 on Sunday night.
Seattle 109, Cranville 97
Steve Smith hauled in 22 points. Kaeding kicked for 12 points. Reuben Droughns scampered for 15
points for the Slugs.
Byron Leftwich led all scorers with 27, but go little help from the rest of the offense. Chris
Brown pushed in 21 points.
Timbuktu 104, West Palm Beach 61
Eli Manning passed for 22 points. Porter managed 19. The Tampa Bay Defense bucked up for 13.
Stephen Davis had a bad day, and ended with zero.
The Chads are left wishing for a redraft. Rudi Johnson was the sole bright spot with 17 points.
Clinton Portis tallied only one point. The Buffalo Defense did not circle the wagons, and was
embarrased with negative 2.
Rocko 98, Wisconsin 57
23 points each from Torry Holt and Chad Johnson virtually secured the victory. 13 points combined
from the 3 running backs showed a weakness in the Bengals.
Joey Harrington struggled, and managed only one point along with Curtis Martin. Joey Galloway was
held to no catches. Larry Johnson led the Wannabees with 23 points.
Kalamazoo 125, Helena 105
Puck's Vikings slide into a win due to late rosters changes to Bulger and Boldin. Tony Gonzalez
grabbed 13 points. Edgerrin James and Shaun Alexander combined for 37 points. Bulger tossed for
16. Anquan Boldin lept for 21 points.
The Hobbits got a huge boost from Mike Anderson, with 26 points. Plaxico Burress and Isaac Bruce
combined for 31 points. Neal Rackers kicked in 14. Down by 24 with Chatman and Gado left to play
on Monday night, the Hobbits felt confident. The young players combined for 4 points, leading to
the release of Chatman and demotion of Gado.
Green Bay 72, Detroit 72
Green Bay was down big going into the Monday night game. Favre and Driver connected for 33 points.
Wiggins brought in 10 points. Longwell booted for 6 points and forced the tie.
Michael Vick managed 16 points against Green Bay. Antonio Gates grabbed 14 before leaving with an
ankle injury. The Indianapolis Defense struggled with Pittsburgh and ended with zero points. The
Drive has to settle for a tie, which is like kissing your sister.
The final three weeks will feature matchups within the tiers, which should lead to some fantastic
finishes for playoff spots.
