Draft Results
[03.16.03] As first official vice presidental duty in PWFSI, I'm posting a review of the draft. All six teams got a few of the "studs" a piece. Rocko started strong with using the overall first pick to nab Vladimir Guerroro. The first couple rounds, as expected, played out with the biggest bats and ace starters getting selected. As experienced by both Libzie and myself, the Yahoo rankings don't always work out. We both preranked and players we didn't select at all were taken before those we did. Providence has the best middle infield with Nomar Garciaparra and Derek Jeter. Hummel Wharf has a dyno - mite lineup in the outfield with Chipper Jones, Barry Bonds and Ichiro Suzuki. Seattle stayed hometown proud and drafted the only Tigers taken in the draft. Michigan and Wisconsin both have pretty strong lineups in the pitching department. Don't forget to check out the MLB section of the PWFFL message board to vote on and discuss the draft.
Draft Completed
[03.16.03] The second draft of Puck's World Fantasy Baseball league was completed on March 15th. It was a very quick draft in which only Seattle, Hummels Wharf, and Michigan coach's attended. Michigan was late to the draft arriving during the twelveth round. Draft Results will be posted when President Puck gets some extra time.
