| WORLD TITLE SEMI-FINAL (Just as the Fenix/Sohn match comes to a close, we hear a roar from the crowd. We pan towards the entrance ramp and we see a figure running from the back. We see it is Chris Storm running with a sprint towards the ring.) Jerry Lawler: Why is he running to the ring? Jim Ross: OH MY!!! That is why! (We see J.C. Xtreme right behind Chris with a flaming chair. Chris dives into the ring and just as J.C. is, Chris Storm drops kicks the flaming chair right into J.C.'s face.) Jerry Lawler: What a cowardly move I LOVE IT!!! Jim Ross: I guess the match has offically started! (Chris Storm quickly exits the ring as well and smacks J.C. Xtreme in the back with the chair again. J.C. Xtreme writhes in pain as Chris Storm goes for a quick cover. 1...2 Kick out.) Jerry Lawler: J.C. Xtreme was slow to kick out there. Jim Ross: What do you expect, he just got smashed with a flaming chair!!! (Chris Storm starts putting the boots to J.C. Xtreme as J.C. Xtreme tries to get up. Chris Storm stops to look under the ring for something and pulls out a table. He sets the table up and picks up J.C. Xtreme. He attempts a suplex but J.C. Xtreme blocks it and suplexes Chris Storm back unto the concrete.) Jim Ross: Great move! (J.C. Xtreme is still hurt as both men slowly get up to their feet. Chris Storm is up first and throws a punch at J.C. Xtreme. J.C. Xtreme ducks and picks up Chris Storm in a firemens carry. He throws him through the ropes and back into the ring. J.C. Xtreme reaches under the ring and pulls out a whole bunch of goodies to the crowds delight. He tosses a kendo stick, a chair, a trash can, and a fire extinguisher into the ring. He then picks up a steel rod and slides into the ring. He rushes at Chris Storm who ducks the swing and catches J.C. Xtreme with a dropkick to the back. The rod goes flying out of the ring as J.C. Xtreme stumbles to the ropes. Chris Storm grabs the trash can and whacks J.C. Xtreme in the back of the head. Chris Storm falls to the ground in pain as the crowd cheers.) Jim Ross: How can the crowd cheer him? Jerry Lawler: Maybe he is more popular then we thought! (Chris Storm hits him again before tossing the trash can aside. He looks over and grabs the kendo stick from off the ground. He smacks J.C. Xtreme hard in the back as he is trying to get to his feet. J.C. Xtreme seems to ignore the blow and keeps raising as Chris Storm hits him again. J.C. Xtreme no sells the blow and gets to his feet. Chris Storm is taken back by this as J.C. Xtreme slaps his chest as to say he wants another shot.) Jerry Lawler: I dont believe this!!! (Chris Storm smacks him again in the chest and J.C. Xtreme shrugs it off. He yells at Chris Storm as the crowd is going nuts. Finally Chris Storm backs up and rushes at J.C. Xtreme who Axe-handles him in the face. Chris Storm goes down hard and J.C. Xtreme kicks the kendo stick out of the ring. He looks around and picks up the fire extinguisher off the ground. He looks like he is going to use it but for some reason he cant get it to work. Chris Storm gets up and grabs the extinguisher and sprays it in J.C. Xtremes face who falls to the ground holding his eyes.) Jim Ross: Desperation move! (Chris Storm grabs the chair in the ring and hits J.C. Xtreme in the head. He drops the chair and looks out of the ring at the table setup on the outside. He drags J.C. Xtreme over to the ring ropes and steps out on the apron. He hooks J.C. Xtremes head and motions for a suplex.) Jerry Lawler: No way!!! (Chris Storm hooks him and brings him out to the apron. He leaps off causing J.C. Xtreme to go back and head first through the table. The crowd begins a holy #### chant as Chris Storm falls over for the pin. 123!!!) Jim Ross: Chris Storm has advanced!!! (Chris Storm is handed the belt and his hand is raised as he limps to the back. EMTs rush to J.C. Xtremes side. J.C. Xtreme is busted wide open now but seems like he more dazed then anything.) Jim Ross: I dont know King, J.C. Xtreme just got caught with one tough move. I expect a lot out of this kid in the future. Jerry Lawler: Whatever the case is JR, JC is for real, but Chris Storm is advancing. (The fans continue to cheer as Chris Storm leaves through the curtain) (Credit Jack Michaels) CONTINUED |
