Happy Holidays!
1. It's gift giving season! Can you child categorize their gifts (or the whole family's gifts?) Catergorization is a concept that many language impaired students have trouble with. Try to put presents in categories depending on their size, function, color, etc.

2. Letter writing is a great way to practice working on pronouns, verbs, and other aspects of proper grammar. Have your student write a letter (to Santa, to a relative, to anyone) and talk about what you see wrong or things that are difficult for them.

3. The whole city is decorated for the holidays! Have your student find things around town (at the mall, the grocery store, the toy store, etc.) that have their sound in them. Practice, practice, practice!

See you in 2008!
