Welcome
to the Prince William County Genealogical Society (PWCGS) in Prince
William County, Virginia, U.S.A. The Society was founded in 1980 to
genealogical research in the County, to
assist residents in their genealogical efforts and help out-of-county
personnel to find past residents of the county. The Society
is a member of the Prince William Arts
Council. The Society is a non-stock, non-profit corporation
incorporated to encourage, forster and organize genealogical research,
publishing, education, and recordkeeping.
