What is Ska you say? The dictionary term ska [skaa] says it is a
popular Jamaican dance music: dance music in 4/4 time originating in Jamaica in the late 1950s, marked by emphasis on the second and fourth beats. It combines traditional Caribbean music and jazz, and was a predecessor of reggae.
This type of music has changed a lot since the 1950s and has turned into hard alternative with a mixture of jazz. Ska isn't for everyone but it takes some time to get used to. So try some ska, I think you'll like what yah hear.
