Ringside At RAW With L-Dub

L-Dub back again with the newest edition on Ringside at Raw today I won't be talking about any particular Raw show but i'll be opening up my thoughts on just Raw in General.

Now Raw can go either way it can be an absolutly great show but thats if they do the smart thing and the smart thing is to one, not repeat matches over and over and two, have obvious matches but just once in a while I mean i'm sick of watching these Hurricane versus Batista when you just know what the outcome will be. That gets boring after a while so they should try to cut that down a little bit. What I mean by doing the same thing here is that I have seen too much Triple H versus Chris Benoit matches or if the match isn't one-on-one they're having this big tag match main event which often ends up as a draw. So my suggestion would have to be to put in some matches that arn't so damn predictible. Batista vs Kane but not have it end up in a DQ like last time. Keep Triple H away from the World Title. I mean if the first ever Undisputed Champion and former main eventer Chris Jericho can be downsized so can Triple H. I think it would be a good turn for Triple H to either go face or challenge for the IC title because as we all know one Triple H should nat have that title again and two he is a much better face than he is heel. It also would have been good in fact it would have been great for Triple H to stay on Smackdown after the second draft instead of being traded. Evolution is in desperate need of seperation, with Randy and Batista being in a faction with Triple H and Flair who are two people who have been around for a long time it seems to be giving Randy a push but if he was a single superstar he could do more and faster. Batista on the other hand is gettin nowhere fast. Split up Evolution not just for that reason but also for the fact that they are boring as hell.

Next up on the list is the stupidest storyline i've ever seen. This Kane/Lita/Matt Hardy This love triangle that WWE has going on it is the stupidest thing i've ever seen in wrestling, for those of you who don't know Matt Hardy and Lita fell in love again and just as Matt was about to propose to Lita after finding out that Lita was pregnant and then just before Matt could do the official proposal Kane informed Matt that he had sex with Lita and that the baby may not be his. (Geez I get enough of this when my sister watches Maury) WWE wrestling is degrating and I think Vince is starting to notice by putting a World Title match on every show even if it is against a jobber.

Randy Orton getting a World Heavyweiht title shot. Well it's about freakin time that Randy gets his chance at something good. I'm not saying that the IC title wasn't good i'm just saying that the World tops the all and Randy should have got the shot months ago. Hell he sould have won the Rumble although I liked the fact the Foely came in and kicked his ass because I always love seeing Foely beat the snot outta somebody. I havn't read any spoilers for Summerslam yet though I have a strong feeling that Randy will come out the champion and I really hope he does because I am sick of Benoit and if Benoit don't get another shot which I hope he doesn't i'd be interested in seeing who will get a shot at the title after/if Randy wins it.

La Resistance consisting of Robert Conway and Slyvain Grenier are not only my favorate Tag Team but they are also the perfect example of the Canadien heels. They're always talking about how discusting america is and making themselves the most hated on the roster because of it. The two are currently feuding with Rhyno and Tagiri, now this is an example of good Raw, you have to un-likely team of Rhyno and Tagiri possibly going for the Tag Team Titles at Summerslam against Robert Conway and Sylvain Grenier and it's just one of those matches where you don't know whats going to happen. Also what makes a Canadien Heel perfect whether it be single or Tag Team this always seems to happen, they kick the crap out of Sgt Slaughter everytime and it's fun to watch because people make a big deal about Slaughter coming to wrestler every once in a while and almost everytime he comes out to face a canadien wrestler/team waving the american flag around getting the fans all hyped up just to lose every time. It seems to me that killing Sgt Slughter is what makes the perfect Canadien Heel.

The Rock I unlike most people don't like the Rock too much and hers the reason. He left wrestling to act full time and when he comes back it's for one interview session or to make an idle threat to Orton as he did a couple weeks ago. He came back for two weeks in March just because he couldn't stand not being at WrestlemaniaXX so he came back lost and wasn't seen again until what June when he came back to tell Eugene that he has friends. Rock's gone again then he comes back because Raw is being held in his hometown of Miami Florida(Wooptee Doo) He tells Orton one day I will whoop you're candy ass, Rocks gone again and hasn't been seen on TV at a wrestling show since. I liked Rock back in the day when he cared about WWE now he comes like once every three months come on this is ridiculus. Also his new movie coming out I think it's called be cool or something like that seems like it will be an overrated box office flop. Unacceptible...

Too much TV time. What are the WWE writers smoking? I mean back around November or December of 2003 they had Jim Ross versus The Coach in a leather strap match. What the hell? JR aint a wrestler and shouldn't be and Coach even as just an interviewer was boring. Enough on those two, after Coach went heel it lead to more Bullcrap with Eric Bishoff being thrown into pointless matches I mean even a match against JR where he busted a cinderblock on JR's head. Damn those fake ass cinderblocks. Too much TV time doesn't mean just people who aint wrestlers i'm going to get onto the fact that everytime Raw starts they're is a ten to twenty minute talking session that bores the hell out of everybody who watches. People i'm referring to, Benoit, Triple H, Bishoff, Austin(When he was around) and countless others who just waste time constantly talking for no apparent reason.

Trish Stratus as a heel. Thankyou for doing this I was getting sick of the pretty and perfect girl next door atitude she had. Now she just takes shit from no one. But of course when the divas are face they're just like I said Trish way the perfect girl next door when they go heel they're suddenly Jezebels. Take a look at Victoria's face turn she completly abandoned her old personality.

Kane unmasked. This is very old news but last year Kane was unmasked and heres another example of personality swap he's a masked face and he can contain himself he's not a complete maniac. Then he gets his mask taken off he's ugle with black makeup on to make it look like he's all burned up and stuff. The next week on Raw it's a different guy and it's a miracle he's not burned anymore. WWE have to think out they're storylines out alot better so it doesn't look like a five year old is writing out thier stories.

Stacey Keibler. She needs more of a role, I never see her in matches it's like shes in WWE solely just for show. The hottest diva on the roster is there just to look at I don't think so they should give her more of a role to play either get her wrestling again or get her a good part to play otherwise whats the point? I'm not saying I want her gone i'm saying that right now she has no purpose she's not wrestling not managing what the hell is she doing? Give her a good role to play.

Tyson Tomco overrated. Ok here we go Trish's problem solver. Funny since he's been in WWE I havn't seen him solve one problem. In fack he's always losing to Jericho to Matt to everybody you think with a guy as big as Tomco you're going to have like a really strong powerfull guy here who can't be beat but no he's getting his ass kicked like Planet Stasiak did when he was around.

Ric Flair time to call it quits? Ok can anybody answer this, why is Ric Flair still wrestling? He's got nothing left he's washed up and he just can't keep the fans entertained anymore he bores the hell out of me. Part of the reason is Evolution why is he with them? To kill him even more? I found it ok when Flair owned Raw and was feuding with Vince. But now as a full time wrestler again I think this is just another example of bullcrap.

Superstar Spotlight

This edition's superstar spotlight is actully a double feature Robert Conway, and Slyvain Grenier.

La Resistance

Pros: These two have sa tendancy to hold onto the tag team gold for a long time. Both Conway and Grenier work great as a team resulting in numerous Tag Team title victories. They have one of the best team finishers i've ever seen au revoir which is french for goodbye and that best suits the move. I can't describe it so find a video. They're passionate about thier country.

Cons: Slyvain's singing voice. if watched too long they can begin to get a little bit repeditive but not too much.
