---*Management Techniques*---

There are several ways of playing promotion wars. here are some suggestions for tactics, hopefully this inspires your own.

---Use What You Have---

Don't worry bout signing free agents or from competition, this is the most realistic way of playing since neither company can just sign whoever/whenever they want. Play the game like WWF would. Don't go nuts and push Mideon to WWF Title status and don't have Rock fight jobbers like Thrasher. This may be the most boring way to play the game, but some people like a very realistic game, if you are one of those people, play this way. Stay on top of their contracts; you don't want to have to bother messing with them when their contracts are at the end.

---Hell With the Jobbers!---

Line up all your jobbers...and hand all asses the pink slip. Pretty much anybody that has a draw/entertainment under 70 can be taken off the roster (unless you have some nice plans for them). Taking these guys off your list frees up enough money for 1-3 really good wrestlers that you can pick up. This is semi-realistic since people do get fired, but not in the masses like some people will do in this game. (Fly- like me!)

---No Room for the Sad---

Short and Sweet- Kind of like "Hell With the Jobbers" strategy, except as you play, if people you have signed or who started on your roster are never happy, then get rid of them. If you give them a title or try different things and they are never happy get rid of them. Makes sense. Also, if you notice they are always in the "worst match of the night" they could be let go. Problem of playing this way is there is very little selection for new feuds and if people start getting injured you might not have enough wrestlers to fill up a card! The good part is just bout everybody is above "good" morale and you save a lot of money where you can spend more on merchandise and PPV's.
This way of playing also hurts other companies because WCW/WWF usually always picks up whomever you release, they end up having a roster twice as big as yours. Their weekly payments are much higher then yours and can hurt the other Federations in the long run.

---Big A$$ Roster---

Probably not the best way to play, but you have a lot of choices for feuds and if people get injured you have plenty of backup. Payments would be high and overall morale could be low, but if your company is doing really good it won't matter too much. PLUS you deprive the other promotion of the best talent and you destroy them week after week in the ratings.
