Providence, Rhodie Island - The Dunkin Donuts Arena

This week's edition of PWA Fusion aired live from the Dunkin Donuts Arena in Providence, Rhode Island. Two days after the first edition of Friday Night Fights on HBO, the "Franchise" Shane Douglas flonted his pin fall victory over the Rock in the main event, jut two nights prior. Douglas's ramblings eventually brought out the "Great One" who promised victory at Vacation to Devastation. After a back and forth verbal battle, Douglas challenged Rock to come to the ring in which Rocky accepted. Once Rock hit the ring, the physical war began. Douglas gained the upper hand at first, backing Rock in to the corner, but the "Brahma Bull" would blast out with fists of fury, 'laying the smackdown' on the "Franchise." Douglas finally retreated, making his way backstage, looking back at his opponent for Vacation to Devastation. Who will leave the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas with a guaranteed title shot? Find out this Sunday on pay per view.

In the opening contest of the night, Olympic gold medalist, Kurt Angle went toe to toe with the "Legend Killer" Randy Orton. Angle was able to dodge the RKO and hit his patented Angle Slam and then down came the straps. Kurt applied the Ankle Lock, nearly forcing Orton in to submission, until U.S. Champion, Johnny Nitro, interfered, blasting Angle in the head with the title. Kurt was awarded the match via disqualification, but would definately win the battle with Johnny Nitro. Nitro added insult to injury by applying Kurt's own submission move, the Ankle Lock, yo Kurt Angle. Melina grabbed the hand of the unconcious Angle and began forcing him to tap out. Nitro then stood tall over his fall opponent. Will Nitro have the same luck when he faces Kurt Angle in an Ultimate Submission Match for the U.S. Title at Vacation to Devastation?

After attacking Hulk Hogan on Friday Night Fights, Raven explained his actions in the center of the ring on Fusion. Raven admitted that the attack was intended to end the career of one Hulk Hogan, perhaps the greatest icon the sport had ever seen. Raven continued, stating that he would forever be known as the man who ended the career of the "Immortal" Hulk Hogan, but his views would suddenly change when Shane McMahon dropped a bombshell on him. Hulkamania was still alive! At Vacation to Devastation, Raven would have a second chance to kill Hulkamania when he goes one on one with Hulk Hogan!

After laying out "HBK" on Friday Night Fights, the "Big Red Machine" Kane stepped in to the squared circle with Rob Van Dam. After delivering a Chokeslam to Hell, Kane went for the cover, but was interupted when Shawn Michaels hit the ring with a steel chair in hand. An irate "HBK" chased Kane up the ramp, eventually blasting him in the back with the chair. Kane immediately hit his knees and yelped in pain and the "Heart Break Kid" delivered yet another chair shot to the spine. Michaels then stood in front of Kane, looked at the capacity crowd in the Dunkin Donuts Arena and delivered the chair shot heard around the world, right to the skull of the "Big Red Machine" officially deaming Michaels successful in his quest for revenge over Kane's assault two nights earlier.

Both Stone Cold Steve Austin and Triple H joined Jim Ross via satellite for an interview concerning their upcoming No Holds Barred Match at Vacation to Devastation. The two discussed their tremendous fall at Friday Night Fights, both admitting to having injuries coutesy of the fall. The "Game" declared that with the No Holds Barred rule in effect, he would have the ability to end Austin's career any way he pleased. Austin reminded Hemsley that the same rules would apply to him, meaning he too would have the ability to do what ever he pleased. Who will go the extra mile for the win when it's all legal? Find out this Sunday on pay per view.

When Fusion concluded, Carlito the "Cool" joined the number one contender, Christian on the Peep Show. Christian, still in posession of the Heavyweight Title, remembered the backstage assault he and Carlito took part in at Friday Night Fights and noted that the same thing could possibly happen against on the 26th when he faced CM Punk with Carlito as the referee and the championship on the line. Carlito added that at the Tournament of Torture, CM punk screwed him, but assured the world that justice would be served at Vacation to Devastation when he wore the stripes. CM Punk finally came out with his ribbed taped up from the attack he suffered on Friday Night Fights. Punk noted that even though the odds were stacked against him with Carlito serving as the referee, some how, some way, he would remain the PWA Heavyweight Champion after all was said and done. Christian then responded saying that the only way CM Punk would ever be a true champion is when he physically took the championship away from him. Those words led CM Punk to the ring where he exchanged lefts and rights with the number one contender and keeper of the title. Surprisingly, Carlito stood by and watched while CM Punk hammered away at Christian, hitting him with a huge back body drop. Punk then heaved the "instant Classic" up for the GTS, but Carlito finally showed his true colors, low blowing Punk. Christian gripped CM Punk and planted him with the Unprettier while Carlito removed his caribbean shirt to reveal a referee shirt. "Captain Charisma" then put one foot on CM Punk's chest while Carlito counted the one, two, three. Christian then rolled Punk over and much like Carlito had done a year earlier, proceeded to rub CM Punk's own championship in his face, telling him he would never get that close to the title again. Christian then held the championship up for all to see as if it was his own. Fusion then concluded when Christian looking at his reflection in the PWA Championship.
