Suddenly, the pyros blast through out the Pacific Coliseum as PWA Fusion comes on the air.] [Jim Ross] Just seven days after the Tournament of Torture, we come to you from our neighbor to the north. We are live in Vancuver, British Columbia, Canada for PWA Fusion! [Jerry Lawler] J.R., tonight has the word the classic written all over it. Not only will Shane Douglas sign a brand new contract in the middle of the ring, but Carlito "the Cool" will have his shot at revenge against that cheating CM Punk and the man who helped him win the title, the Undertaker. [Jim Ross] I think you have your story confused a bit, but nevertheless, Carlito teams with Kane to take on the new PWA Champion, CM Punk and the Undertaker. [Christian's music begins to play.] [Jerry Lawler] Look who it is! It's the number one contender! [Jim Ross] Indeed, Christian is the number one contender for CM Punk's title. I don't agree with how he won the match, but I'm not a referee so there's not much I can do about it. Christian is the number one contender and it is now official ladies and gentlemen, Christian will face CM Punk at Vacation to Devastation on August 26th. ["Captain Charisma" enters the ring and awaits for his opponent.] __________________________________________________ [Singles Match] [Christian w/ Tyson Tomko vs. Buff Bagwell] [With Christian down, Buff Bagwell ascends the top rope in hopes of hitting his finishing move, the Blockbuster. Christian staggers to his feet and grabs the referee, turning the ref's back toward Buff. Tyson Tomko hops on the apron and shakes the ropes causing Bagwell to lose his balance and fall off the top rope. Christian then sees his opening, shoves the referee to the side and picks up a fallen Bagwell only to plant him with the Unprettier. Christian hooks the leg and gains the three.] [Winner - Christian] [After the match, Christian grabs a microphone and begins to speak.] [Christian] Oh no, we're not done yet. Give me a chair Tomko. [Tyson Tomko tosses two chairs in the ring. Christian places Bagwell's head on top of one chair and picks up the other chair.] [Jim Ross] Oh my God, don't do this Christian. This is too damn much! [Jerry Lawler] Christian is going to make an example out of Buff Bagwell. [Christian looks at the crowd and with a smile on his face, slams the steel chair, crushing Buff's head.] [Jim Ross] The One Man Con-chair-toe! Buff could have brain damage and Christian doesn't give a damn. [Christian drops the chair and picks up the microphone again.] [Christian] Buff, you wanna humiliate me? You wanna make a fool of me? Do you think you could actually beat me? I'm Captain Charisma damn it! I'm the Instant Classic! I am the single greatest athlete in this company! I'm the next PWA Heavyweight Champion and nobody...nobody...is going to stop me because that's...how I...roll. [Christian drops the microphone on top of Buff's head as his music hits. Christian exits the ring and walks backwards up the ramp looking at the ring while EMT's attend to Buff Bagwell.] __________________________________________________ [Commercial Break] __________________________________________________ [Non Title Match] [Jonny Nitro w/ Melina vs. The Rock] [Johnny Nitro hammres away at the Rock, backing him up in to the ropes. Nitro goes to whip Rock to the opposing side, but Rock reverses. As Nitro comes back toward Rock, he is caught with a powerful spine buster. The Rock then sets up for the People's Elbow, sliding his arm pad off and tossing it in to the crowd. Just then, Melina jumps on the apron to distract the referee. The Rock turns his attentions toward Melina and walks over to her, demanding the referee make her leave. With Rock distracted, Nitro slides under the ropes and grabs his U.S. Championship. Johnny rolls back in to the ring and awaits for Rock to turn around. Finally, Rock looks over his shoulder and Nitro charges at him with the title, however, Rock catches him with a Rock Bottom. The referee then looks back, sees Rock pinning Nitro and counts the three.] [Winner - The Rock] __________________________________________________ [Backstage Segment] [Michael Cole is shown at the Fusion interview set along with Triple H and the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair.] [Michael Cole] Triple H, at the Tournament of Torture, you and Kurt Angle battled tooth and nail and in the end, neither man was able to finish the other one off within the fifteen minute time limit. Tonight, you face Angle once again, this time, it's sudden death. [Triple H] Let's me make things straight. I was screwed out of the PWA Championship because I couldn't beat Kurt Angle, an Olympic gold medalist, in fifteen minutes. I'd like to see someone go out to that ring and put the guy away in fifteen minutes. Tonight, I'm gonna finish what I started at Tournament of Torture. I'm going to put that man away. It may take me fifteen minutes...it may take me an hour...but mark my words, the job will get done. [With that said, Triple H walks off and Ric Flair steps in to the camera's view and looks at Michael Cole.] [Ric Flair] WOOOOO! [Flair then walks off and Fusion fades to a commercial break.] __________________________________________________ [Commercial Break] __________________________________________________ [Tournament of Torture Rematch] [Triple H w/ Ric Flair vs. Kurt Angle] [With Kurt Angle down, Triple H makes his way up the top rope. Suddenly, to Hunter's surprise, Angle jumps up and sprints up the ropes, grabs Triple H and executes a belly to belly suplex from the top rope, slinging Triple H across the ring. Both men lie motionless for a few moments before Kurt begins to pull himself up. Triple H begins to get up as well as Ric Flair paces back and forth with his shirt soaked in sweat. Suddenly, out of no where when the "Game" turns around, he is tackled to the ground by none other than Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin begins to open up on Triple H with lefts and rights, forcing the referee to call for the bell. Triple H rolls out of the ring, trying to get away, but Austin stays on him. Ric Flair goes to attack Austin from behind, but Austin turns around in time to nail Flair with a right hand. Stone Cold then grabs a steel chair and blasts Triple H in the skull with it, busting him wide open across the forehead. Austin then nails Ric Flair across the head with the chair as well as the crowd goes nuts. Stone Cold then rolls a battered Triple H back in to the ring, pulls him up, flips him off, and finishes him off with a Stunner. Lillian Garcia then announces the referee's official decision.] [Lillian Garcia] Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this match as a result of a disqualification...Triple H! [Winner (via disqualification) - Triple H] [After hearing the decision, an angry Kurt Angle turns Austin around and begins to yell at him for costing him the match. Stone Cold then looks at the capacity crowd, kicks Angle in the gut, and delivers a Stone Cold Stunner to him as well. Austin's music hits and the crowd cheers as he makes his way up the ramp, drinking a cold beer.] __________________________________________________ [Commercial Break] __________________________________________________ [As PWA returns from a commercial break, Stephanie McMahon's music hits and the most powerful woman in the Professional Wrestling Alliance makes her way to the ring with a brief case in hand. Stephanie enters the ring and steps on to the red carpet covering the mat. Stephanie places the brief case on the table set up in the ring and grabs a microphone.] [Stephanie McMahon] Just in case you people forgot, the name is McMahon...Stephanie McMahon and I have just as much stroke around here as my brother, Shane. Now, for some unknown reason, Shane has taken things upon himself to make what ever decisions he sees fit without consulting me so therefore, I've taken things in to my own hands by bringing back arguably one of the greatest superstars to ever grace a PWA ring. Now, ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the one and only franchise of the PWA...Shane Douglas! [Shane Douglas's music hits and the "Franchise" appears on the stage as cameras flash from all angles. Douglas makes his way down the ramp to a mixed reaction from the Vancuver crowd and enters the ring, shaking Stephanie's hand once he steps on to the carpet. Douglas is then handed a microphone as his music stops.] [Stephanie McMahon] Shane Douglas, let me be the first to say that it is great to have you back where you belong, in the Professional Wrestling Alliance. [Shane Douglas] Well let me be the first to say that it feels great to be back. I told you I wanted the whole world to see me sign my name on the dotted line, Steph, and now, the time has come. I got my pen; where's the contract! [Stephanie pulls out the contract and places it on the table in front of Shane Douglas.] [Stephanie McMahon] You know what the deal is. We went through this all last Sunday. You sign that contract and not only will officially be a full fledged member of the PWA, but you will also get a future title shot at the PWA Heavyweight Champion. [With a smile on his face, Douglas flips through the pages before signing his name on the dotted line. Just then, "If ya smelllll" hits and the crowd goes absolutely crazy. "The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment" makes his way to the ring as Shane Douglas stands up out of his seat. Rock enters the ring and poses on the second rope as thousands of cameras flash. The Rock steps down and is handed a microphone.] [Shane Douglas] What in the hell do you want? This is my time! This is my contra... [The Rock puts his hand in Douglas's face causing him to stop talking.] [The Rock] Before you talk to the Rock, why don't you tell the Rock exactly what your name is. [Shane Douglas] My name? I'm the f*cking "Franchise" Shane Doug... [Rock immediately cuts him off.] [The Rock] It doesn't matter what your name is! [The crowd goes nuts as Stephanie McMahon tries to hold Shane Douglas back.] [The Rock] So you're Shane Douglas...the "Franchise." Well Franchise, why don't you tell the Rock exactly what you've done to deserve a future title shot at the PWA Championship. [Shane Douglas] What have I done? I think the question is what have I not done. I am the greatest superstar to ever step foot in this ring, that's why I deserve a title shot. [The Rock] If you're as great as you say you are, why don't you put your shot on the line and go one on one with the Rock! [The crowd roards after hearing Rock's proposal.] [Shane Douglas] Rock, although I would love to kick your ass, I'm not gonna fall for your tactics. [Stephanie McMahon] Besides, you had your shot last Sunday, Rock, and you lost. What makes you think that you deserve another shot? [Just then, "Here Comes the Money" hits and Shane McMahon makes his way to the ring. Shane steps in to the squared circle, grabs a microphone and begins to speak.] [Shane McMahon] Stephanie, have you completely lost your mind? First you give Carlito, the most sadistic man in PWA, his own monster in Kane and now you hand Shane Douglas a title shot! [Stephanie McMahon] No, Shane, I'm making decisions around here and the problem is that you can't accept the fact that your little sister is doing a better job than you could ever do. [Shane McMahon] Steph, I organized the entire Tournament of Torture pay per view. Last Sunday was a huge success. Now tell me, where did I go wrong? [Stephanie McMahon] Exactly, Shane. You ran the entire Tournament of Torture and now it's my turn. [Shane McMahon] Well how does this sound, baby sister. I am using my power to make a match for Vacation to Devastation. In one corner will be the "Franchise" Shane Douglas and in the opposing corner will be the "Great One" the Rock and the winner will get a future title shot at the PWA Championship. [Shane Douglas] What? That's not fair! This is my shot! [As Douglas continues to insult Shane McMahon, the Rock intervenes and begins to 'lay the smackdown' on the "Franchise." The Rock finishes him off by spitting in his hand and nailing him with one last shot, sending Douglas over the top rope. The Rock's music hits and Fusion fades to a commercial break with Douglas backing up the ramp, holding his jaw.] __________________________________________________ PWA Friday Night Fights On August 17th, history will be made. For the first time ever, professional wrestling will grace the prime time slot on one of America's favorite networks. Live from the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut, PWA presents Friday Night Fights on HBO! __________________________________________________ [Commercial Break] __________________________________________________ [Main Event] [Carlito "the Cool" & Kane vs. CM Punk & The Undertaker] [All hell breaks loose and all four men begin to battle it out in the center of the ring. The Undertaker and his brother Kane take their war to the outside of the ring while CM Punk whips Carlito to the corner in the ring. CM Punk then follows up with a running knee to Carlito's head. The reigning champion grabs Carlito's head and then goes to execute a bulldog, however Carlito shoves him off and CM Punk runs in to the referee, sending him to the outside. Carlito quickly goes to attack Punk from behind, but CM sees him coming and catches him with an elbow. Punk then begins to open up with a series of lefts and rights. CM Punk then lifts Carlito over his shoulders for his patented GTS, but when he looks over, he notices Christian and Tyson Tomko making their way to the ring. Punk drops Carlito and turns his attentions toward the number one contneder and his Problem Solver. The two Vacation to Devastation opponents share words with leads Christian to spit in CM Punk's face. An irate Punk wipes the spit off his face, but before he can step through the ropes to get to Christian, Carlito comes from behind and hits the Back Stabber. Carlito then hooks the legs and Tyson Tomko hoistes the referee up and rolls him up the ring. The ref sees Carlito pinning Punk and counts the three count.] [Winner(s) - Carlito "the Cool" & Kane] [After the match, Christian walks around the ring and grabs CM Punk's championship and simply walks off with Tomko walking closely behind him. Mean while, Carlito picks up his apple, takes a bite, looks down at a battered CM Punk and proceeds to spit the apple right in the face of the PWA Champion. PWA Fusion then fades out with Carlito joining Tomko and Christian at the top of the ramp. Carlito takes another bite of his apple, laughing and pointing at CM Punk in the ring while Christian holds up the PWA Heavyweight Championship high for all to see.] __________________________________________________ PWA Vacation to Devastation On August 26th, the Professional Wrestling Alliance is inviting you to join it for a vacation...straight to devastation!
