Kanses City, Missouri - The Kemper Arena

Just three days before PWA invades Sin City for the 2007 Tournament of Torture, PWA Fusion rolled in to the historic Kemper Arena for PWA Fusion on ESPN.  In the opening moments of the show, the Texas Rattlesnake strolled to the ring and noted that this Sunday that he would be pulling for Triple H to win the Tournament of Torture, only to be the one to take the strap from The Game.  Austin also made mention of his opponent for Tournament of Torture, Randy Orton, who would then make his presence felt stating that this Sunday, he would kill perhaps the biggest legend in the history of professional wrestling, the legend of Stone Cold Steve Austin.  With Stone Cold's problems with Triple H play a role in his match with the Legend Killer?  Find out this Sunday on pay per view.

After being on the losing end of things over the past several weeks, John Cena was able to pull off a huge win, forcing the Rated R Superstar Edge in to submission with the STF-U.  After the match, Cena announced that he would be a part of this Sunday's Invitational Battle Royal for the United States Championship.

Another man who announced his entry in to the U.S. Title Battle Royal was none other than Hulk Hogan.  Hogan vowed to leave Las Vegas with a title that he has never held in his career and definately made the other participants take notice when he defeated another man who will be in the match, Johnny Nitro after hitting his signature big boot and leg drop.

This Sunday,, the entire world will be on the edge of their seat when a new PWA Champion is crowned, but in addition, we also find out who will get the first shot at the title when Christian meets The Rock, but on Fusion, Rock was the special guest on Christian's Peep Show.  After a back and forth rebuttle on who would be the number one contender for the PWA Title, Christian delivered the slap heard around the world, right across The Rock's face.  An irate Rock then proceeded to 'lay the smackdown' on Captian Charisma, but only to be attacked from behind by Christian's Problem Solver, Tyson Tomko.  Tomko would send a battered Rock to the ropes, but to his surprise, the Brahma Bull returned full speed with a thunderous clothesline, taking the big man down.  As Tomko returned to a vertical base, The Rock would deliver one last clothesline, sending Tyson Tomko over the top rope, but as soon as Rock turned around, he was met with a vial steel chair shot to the skull, courtesy of Christian.  Christian then put his foot on Rock's chest and raised his hand in victory, promising that he would do the same thing this Sunday on pay per view.

Moments before the main event, former PWA Champion and one of eight men to compete in this Sunday's tournament, Carlito the Cool, was spotted in the backstage area studying would appeared to be x-rays.  When asked about the x-rays by Michael Cole, Carlito informed Cole that the best way to beat an opponent is to expose that opponent's weaknesses and that's exactly what he intended to do not only this Sunday, but tonight as well in his Eight Man Tag Match.

CM Punk teamed with Buff Bagwell, Undertaker, and Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle to battle Jimmy Jacobs, Scott Hall, Carlito, and Triple H in an Eight Man Tag in the main event.  With all eight men competing in the Tournament of Torture for the PWA Title, none were looking for a loss just three days before their big night.  Afte a solid match, the referee lost all control as the eight warriors battled it out all over the ring with each man pairing up with his first round opponent.  Finally, the referee made the decision to call for the bell, deaming the match a no contest, but that wouldn't be enought to stop the mayhem.  The Undertaker planted Carlito with a huge chokeslam, but was then sent to the outside by Kevin Nash, who had been sent to the backstage area by the referee for interfering on Hall's behalf earlier in the match.  Nash continued to pound on the Undertaker as Scott Hall and Buff Bagwell battled it out on the outside of the ring and Kurt Angle and Triple H continued to battle up the ramp.  In the ring, CM Punk hit the GTS on Jimmy Jacobs, but was nailed in the back with a steel chair by Carlito.  Carlito then applied a Crossface on CM Punk, pulling the Straight Edge Superstar's neck as far back as he could.  Carlito would finally release the hold and add insult to injury by spitting an apple in to Punk's face.  This Sunday, the question still remains, who will make history and become the new undisputed PWA Champion and win the 2007 Tournament of Torture?
