[May 21, 2001]

"On The Road Again" by Metallica is heard through your television as the face of a bloody K-9 is shown lying against the top of the cell. K-9's face slowly fades away and your television screen switches to black and white as Whizz Kid is seen leaping off of the tower and crashing through the car.

"On The Road Again" is still playing as the picture fades to Distress hitting Psyclone with the steel chair and then fades into a shot Kryenik looking into the camera with a sweat covered face. Kryenik's face fades to Eraser receiving the Royal Kick and falling into the casket. As Eraser lands the scene fades to Tom Terwilliger smashing the ladder into K-9 and then fades into Tom Terwilliger falling through the cell.

The picture of a mangled Terwilliger lying unconscious on the canvas fades away for a picture of Da MAB grasping the Rocky Mountain Championship. "On The Road Again" continues as the montage keep rolling. Da MAB fades into a shot of a defeated Ray Blaze lying on the mat which is then faded into Rude Boy stading on the turnbuckle holding the Pacific International Championship. This picture fades to two hands grasping each other in a handshake as "On The Road Again" slowly fades out along with the picture.

The PWA logo flashes across the screen as "Meaning of Life" by Disturbed roars through your television set and the pictures fades to Al Winchester sitting next to Sean Donato in front of a wall of TV monitors.

Al Winchester - Welcome to a special edition of Monday Night Shock. I'm Al "IWF Ed's Cousin" Winchester along with Sean "I Was Just Hired As An Interviewer But I'm Co-Hosting This Show" Donato. Tonight we are going to take a special look at what happened last night at Future Shock and get wrestler's comments on the matches.

Sean Donato - That's right Al. Due to the fact that so many of the PWA wrestlers were injured at Future Shock the whole roster was given this week off in order to recover bumps, bruises, and in some cases severe injuries. To all of our fans in Salt Lake City, we here at the PWA are sorry about the cancellation of your event and we look forward to coming back in the near future!

Al Winchester - That's right Sean. Let's get this show underway.

An image of Billy Kryenik and Tommy Deathrow is flashed onto the screen and left their for a good five seconds. The image is removed the screen and Winchester and Donato are sitting on their stools in front of the video wall inthebackground with footage of Deathrow and Kryenik.

Al Winchester - Billy Kryenik made his triumphant return to the PWA last night after suffering the effects of a horrible car accident over one month ago.

Sean Donato - Friday night saw Kryenik and Deathrow take on the former tag team champions, or at least one half of them. Let's see what happened.

The screen fades from Donato into the closing seconds of the Texas Tornado Tag Team match.

Deathrow releases the Boston crab before Psyclone can submit and end the match. Deathrow then lifts PSyclone to his feet and delivers a dominator to him as Kryenik comes off of the second turnbuckle with a diving elbow. Kryenik lifts Psyclone back to his feet and then delivers a sit down powerbomb to him. Distress is still sitting in his chair on the outside watching his partner get pummeled.

Deathrow lifts Psyclone back up to his feet but he collapses. Deathrow tries again and this time his quick enough to get Psyclone in his shoulders. Deathrow delivers the Deathrow Driver to Psyclone as Distress cheers them on. Kryenik then lifts Psyclone up and whips him into the ropes. Kryenik hits a swinging neckbreaker on Psyclone and then lifts him off of the canvas and places him on the top turnbuckle. Kryenik climbs to the top turnbuckle himself. Kryenik lifts Psyclone up and places him into a pedigree position. Kryenik then leaps backwards driving Psyclone's head into the canvas from the top rope.

Kryenik covers Psyclone as the referee drops to the canvas to make the count; 1........ 2....... 3.

The scene fades back to a shot of Sean Donato.

Sean Donato - Kryenik and Deathrow picked up the victory over the former tag team champions but Distress was sitting on the outside watching as his partner got pummeled. We would later find out why Distress turned on his partner but lets see what transpired after the match

Distress is in the ring helping his partner to his feet and then nails him with the steel chair right on the head. Distress throws the chair down and slides out of the ring. Distress walks to the back leaving his partner lying in the ring.

The shot of Distress walking out of the arena fades to Sean Donato sitting on his stool.

Sean Donato - Distress completely turned his back in his former partner claiming that his partner had dropped the ball, so to speak and that it was his fault that they were no longer tag team champions. After the show had ended and Distress was getting into his car our camera's picked up this footage.

Distress is shown walking to his car. Distress pulls his keys out and unlocks his car. As he opens the door Eraser jumps him from behind with a 2x4. Eraser leaves Distress lying next to his car holdinghis shoulder.

Sean Donato - Eraser jumped Distress for apparently no reason and then left him lying there. We havenot been able to find Eraser since but Steiner King has booked these two in a singles match next Monday.

Al Winchester - On that note its time for our first commercial break. When we come back......

The pictures fades to a shot of the six foot grave and then fades to commercials.

One commercial is advertising beach balls and shows footage of the balls being bounced around crowds at severeal PWA events. The slogan "Can You Beat Security?" flashes across the bottom of the screen as the commercial fades into a Burger King commercial. A minute and a half later, after a Midas commercial, Monday Night Shock fades back into your television.

Al Winchester - Welcome back folks. Friday Night saw the first ever Funeral Match in IWF/PWA history. Xcalibur and Eraser went right at each other in what was definitely an overlooked match on the PayPerView after everything else that went down. Let's take a look at some of the action.

Xcalibur lifts Eraser up and leads him back over to the mini-copter. Xcalibur grabs Eraser by the back of the head and smashes his head through the windshield of the mini-copter. Eraser is hanging in the window of the mini-copter with his face bleeding profusley as Xcalibur lifts the casket back upright.

The picture then fades to the end of the match.

Eraser climbs out of the pit with the shovel and opens the lid of the casket. Xcalibur climbs out of the pit as Eraser turns around at the end of the casket with the shovel raised high over his head. Xcalibur nails Eraser with the Royal Kick before he can swing the shovel. Eraser drops the shovel and falls backwards right into the casket as the fans erupt.

Xcalibur slams the lid shut and pushes the casket over the edge and into the grave. Xcalibur then picks up the shovel and starts to bury the casket as the fans chant "X-Cal."

Al Winchester - Xcalibur picked up the win but no one could believe how far Eraser pushed Xcalibur to the limits. Later on Xcalibur broke kayfabe and congratulated Eraser on having a great match thus cementing both men as class acts in the PWA!

Sean Donato - I wouldn't quite call both of them class acts. Xcalibur keeps going around bad mouting the boss. The same boss who gave everyone every chance to shine. Xcalibur seems to think that he is the greatest. Well, Spencer Cohle interviewed Steiner King about this ongoing issue with Xcalibur after Future Shock had come to an end.

Spencer Cohle is sitting in Steiner King's office across the desk from Steiner.

Spencer Cohle - Steiner, we both know that you are a fair man and it also a well known fact that you dislike Ray Blaze. Why do you think that Xcalibur keeps associating you with Ray?

Steiner King - Spencer, I don't know exactly what is going through Xcalibur's head? Xcalibur talks as if he were a "bad guy" but then the fans cheer him. Just the same way they cheer me. Except they have every reason to cheer me because they hate Blaze as much as I do and I have the power to make Blaze's life a living hell.

Spencer Cohle - Yeah but isn't that a little biased? You are the president of the PWA, shouldn't you be totally neutral.

Steiner King - I was totally neutral.... until Ray decided to hit me with the steel on Shock a few weeks ago. Ray brought this on himself. And now Xcalibur wants to jump into the picture. Well, I say fine because live from Las Vegas on May 28th Xcalibur is going to square off against Ray Blaze. However, this will not be a singles match. It will be Ray Blaze and Tom Terwilliger, if he is willing to team up with Ray after such a hellacious fall through the cell, versus Xcalibur and Rude Boy.

Specner Cohle - A tag team main event! Why?

Steiner King - Well, I am a fair man and I do give everyone every opportunity to prove themselves worthy. As hated as he is, Tom has shown great strides in putting his body on the line. Xcalibur has just run his mouth off so much about wanting Blaze. Blaze is in there because Xcalibur wants him. Rude Boy is in there because he IS the Pacific International Champion.

Spencer Cohle - Thank you very much for your tie Steiner.

Steiner King - No problem Spencer.

The picture of Steiner King fades out and Monday Night Shock goes to commercial.

An advertisement for "The Streets Have No Name" is playing across the screen. Footage of Terwilliger, Blaze, Xcalibur, and Rude Boy is shown and then the commercial fades into a Goodyear commercial. Two minutes later a JVC commercial fades away and Monday Night Shock is back.

Sean Donato and Al Winchester are casually talking to each other.

Al Winchester - Are we done yet?

Sean Donato - Ha, I wish. We've still got another half of a show left.

Al Winchester - Ohh god!

Winchester and Donato realize that they are live and then get serious again.

Sean Donato - Ahem, well, Steiner King just dropped a bombshell! Ray Blaze and Tom Terwilliger to square off against Xcalibur and Rude Boy this coming Monday in Las Vegas.

Al Winchester - Well, you can't argue with Steiner, he does everybody their fair chance.

Sean Donato - Speaking of fair chances, Whizz Kid and Oozie were definitely given their fair chance and they definitely did not disappoint. Whizz Kid delivered what was likely the biggest bump of Future Shock followed closely by Terwilliger's. Let's check this out one more time.

Whizz Kid jumps off of the roof of the automobile and grabs a TV cable and brings it back to the car. Whizz Kid climbs onto the roof and starts to choke Oozie with the cord. Whizz Kid then takes the cord and ties Oozie's arms down to the roof of the car so that he can't move.

The picture fades to a shot of Whizz Kid high above the car on the tower. In what is a surreal moment Whizz Kid leaps off of the light tower and plummets twenty feet down onto Oozie and the car as the roof completely caves in.

Sean Donato - These two are the tag team champions and they are doing this to each other! After the match Whizz Kid was brought to the University Medical Center where doctor's kept him overnight for observation. Miraculously Whizz Kid escaped with only a minor concussion and scrapes and bruises. The concussion was his second in two months though which made the doctor's urge Whizz Kid to seriously consider taking sometime off.

Al Winchester - If he takes more than a month off he would be forced to forfeit the Tag Team Championships and the Japan Pro Championship. So we'll wait and see what his decision.

Sean Donato - I hope for his own sake that he does take enough time to at least get over post concussion syndrome.

Al Winchester - His opponent in that match, and tag team partner, Oozie, was treated at the arena for minor injuries including a lacerated left shoulder blade and bruises covering his entire back. Oozie, however, is capable of wrestling and he has yet to speak about the condition of his partner or the tag team championships. In fact, next Monday in Las Vegas it has been announced that Oozie will wrestle Brian Pittman in a Bare Buckles Match.

Sean Donato - Bare Buckles?

Al Winchester - Well, from what I've been told a Bare Buckles match is a match where all the turnbuckle padding is removed from the corners and you can only win by pinfall.

Sean Donato - That's not going to be good on Oozie's back.

Al Winchester - Not at all. But stay tuned folks because coming up next we will re-live the horrible fall taken by Tom Terwilliger.

Monday Night Shock fades to commercial break.

A commercial for Limp Bizkit's newest album "Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavoured Water" fades onto the screen as snipets from several of the songs on the album are played. This commercial fades for a Playstation2 commercial. Two minutes later a Safeway commercial fades out and the Monday Night Shock logo fades onto the screen.

The Monday Night Shock logo fades to the camera zoomed in on the video which is showing footage of the Ladder in a Cell match from Friday night. The camera zooms out to reveal Al Winchester and Sean Donato still sitting on their stools. All of a sudden a beachball flies out of nowhere and nails Al Wincherster in the head.

Al Winchester - Hey! Who threw that?

Sean Donato - Doesn't matter, Shock wouldn't be complete without a beachball anyways.

Al Winchester - Yeah, well, Friday night saw one of the mot gruesome matches ever seen in the IWF/PWA. A Ladder in a Cell match. Which should have been more aptly named "Ladder on the Cell" but that is another story for another day.

Sean Donato - Or never.

Al Winchester - What?

Sean Donato - Um, nothing.

Al Winchester - Anyways, Da MAB was the only man standing by the time that match was over. Let's go to the footage to see what went down.... literally.

Footage of Da MAB carrying a green ladder to the ring starts the footage. This scene then fades into a scene showing Da MAB peerched atop a ladder leaning against the cell. Da MAB rides the ladder down onto a standing Terwilliger knocking him down to the concrete. This scene fades into K-9 falling off of the cell and onto Terwilliger and Da MAB in the aisle. The scene then fades into Tom Terwilliger repeatedly bashing the ladder into K-9's stomach causing him to internally bleed and cough up blood. The scene then fades to Da MAB holding K-9 in the Nightmare Grasp 20 feet above the ring on top of the cell. This scene then fades to Da MAB and Terwilliger trading punches atop the ladder on top of the cell. Terwilliger then falls off of the ladder and through the cell as the scene fades to show Terwilliger lying face first on the mat as paramedics work on him. This gruesome scene then fades into Da MAB's hand closing around the Rocky Mountain Championship. The footage then fades back to Winchester and Donato.

Al Winchester - Tom Terwilliger's fall through the cell was something I hope never happens again in this industry. It not only shocked the world but the fans there went completely silent.

Sean Donato - My god, I was watching through the curtain from backstage and I had no idea if he was alive or not.

Al Winchester - Neither did I, however, once the stretcher that Terwilliger was on came through the curtain there was a crowd around him. Not because he wasn't moving but because Terwilliger was actually trying to get up. The paramedics held him down as a precaution but you could see it in his eyes that he didn't like being strapped to that stretcher one bit. He settled for not going to the hospital and being checked out by the in house doctor. Late after the show had ended Terwilliger was released by the doctor and was sent home to rest.

Sean Donato - That may put Steiner's main event next week in jeopardy then won't it?

Al Winchester - Yup. But overlooked in this match is the fact that Da MAB came out on top as the winner and he did it in fine fashion. He had K-9 in the Nightmare Grasp on top the cell for over three minutes.

Sean Donato - When we come back from break, we will look at the Ray Blaze/Rude Boy feud and see what happened on Friday night as the ultimate climax!

Monday Night Shock fades into another commercial for "The Streets Have No Name." This commercial fades into a commercial for the new movie "The Animal" starring Rob Schneider and debuting June 1st. Three more commercials air and then Monday Night Shock fades back on.

Sean Donato - The match of the night however had to have been the 60 minute Iron Man match between Rude Boy and Ray Blaze. This match was an epic battle between two of the PWA's top superstars ever.

Al Winchester - It definitely lived up to expectation and then some!

Sean Donato - Yeah, at two points in the match Rude Boy trailed by two falls but ended up winning the match 5-4 with a Ray Blaze type submission move in the last minute! Let's take a look at this classic match up.

The song "First Time" by Finger 11 roars through your television. As it calms down the faces of Rude Boy and Ray Blaze are shown on a black and white split screen with a cloudy border. This screen fades away to show Blaze applying a standing ankle lock while Rude Boy taps out. This footage fades away in favor of footage of Blaze's super fisherman's suplex which gave Blaze a 2-1 lead. This footage fades into a shot of Ray Blaze delivering the Blaze Face to Rude Boy and pinning him to go up 3-1. This footage fades into Rude Boy delivering the Super Skank to Blaze and then slamming his hand to the mat three times while the referee is in lying in the corner. This scene fades into Blaze nailing Rude Boy with the chair and covering him. Rude Boy kicks out of the chair shot and the footage once again fades. This time Rude Boy is shown applying a half crab with an armlock while Blaze taps out. The scene of Blaze tapping quickly fades into Blaze applying a double bridging armbar to a tapping Rude Boy to give Blaze a 4-2 lead. This footage fades into Rude Boy delivering a springboard corkscrew moonsault and pinning Blaze for 3. The scene then fades into Rude Boy delivering the Super Skank to Blaze for the second time. The scene keeps rolling and Rude Boy delivers the Iconolast to Blaze to tie the match at 4-4. "First Time" is still playing in the background as the footage fades to Ray Blaze putting Rude Boy through the announce table with the Blaze Face. This footage quickly fades to Ray Blaze pinning Rude Boy in the ring a minute or so after the Blaze Face. Rude Boy kicks out as the footage fades to Rude Boy placing Ray Blaze into a crossface chickenwing. The scene then fades to Ray Blaze tapping out of the chickenwing. The song in the background then fades from "First Time" to an instrumental version of "Shook Me All Night Long" by ACDC. Rude Boy's is shown standing triumphant on the second turnbuckle holding the Pacific International Championship. Rude Boy's triumphant figure fades to Ray Blaze's dejected face lying against the mat after giving it his all. This image then fades to the two hands grasping each other in a handshake of respect as the picture and the music fades away.

Sean Donato - These two men went head to head in one of the most heated rivalries in the IWF/PWA history and in a true show of sportsmanship, after it was said and done. These two men shook hands!

Al Winchester - That is what it's all about Sean. All gimmicks, lights, fancy sets, and charismatic catchphrases aside... that respect is what this industry is all about and I am glad to be a part of this industry and I am glad to a be a part of this tremendous federation with Steiner King at the helm!

Sean Donato - Well, I believe that that wraps up this special edition of Monday Night Shock. Ladies and gentleman, we thank you for tuning in tonight and we thank you for being a PWA fan!

Al Winchester - Next Monday, Ray Blaze and Tom Terwilliger, if he is willing to risk his health, to square off against Xcalibur and Rude Boy. Good evening folks. Enjoy your week!

Monday Night Shock fades out as the PWA logo flashes across the screen.
