![]() [September 10, 2001] Live From the Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Missouri A video montage begins to play. The Twin Towers are shown, smoke bellowing out of huge gaping holes. It then shows the towers collapsing, while "The Star Spanngled Banner" plays in the background. The video shows civilians running from the ash and concrete, then switches to scenes of heroes, trying to rescue missing civilians. The video then fades out to a pictures of a bald eagle, with a tear dripping dowb it's cheek. The cameras then cut to the inside of the arena. Theo Chaplin- Ladies and gentlemen...after the heinous attacks on The United States of America this past Tuesday, we here at the PWA are prepared to pay our respects. The lights in the arena go down as the picture of the eagle remains on the PacificVision. Every PWA superstar is surrounding the ring, each wielding a candlestick. Sid Sharpe stands in the ring, holding the American flag over his shoulder. Sid Sharpe- For those whose lives were lost, and to all those who lost a loved on on that tragic day...we are here. As they say in this business, "the show must go on", and it will, here tonight...but not before we pay our respects. Sid hangs his head as "The Star Spangled Banner" starts up again. Over the music a bell toll begins. Ding...ding...ding...ding...ding...ding...ding...ding...ding...ding. The National Anthem reaches it's peak as Sid Sharpe begins waving the American flag with pride, and for once, the fans cheer him. The fans and wreslters all go crazy, yelling with pride as their nation's flag waves in the wind. Shock goes to a breif commercial break. ![]() Theo Chaplin- Well, folks, it's been a very emotional week for us Americans, but we are here to put on a show,and that's exactly what we've got planned for you tonight! Elijah Page- I don't know what Sid Sharpe was thinkin', but he allowed The Ego a Pacific International Championship shot tonight against Hugh Jorgan...but he threw in some elements to ensure a victory for the reigning champ. Like, a steel cage...and Special Guest Referee, Iceberg! Theo Chaplin- Also tonight, Chris Ponger tries for PWA gold, that being the Canadian Championship. He takes his shot against Da MAB! Elijah Page- Technine and The One battle out their differences as John Storm takes on Distress in a hardcore match!! What a night! ![]() During the break the PWA wrestlers clear the ringside area, heading towards the locker rooms. Every superstar touches the American flag, which has been hung above the entrance, before they disappear behind the curtain. The countdown shows upon the PacificVision. ![]() Monday Night Shock comes back from commercial break as the silver strobe lights flash from the ceiling of the arena and the steel cage lowers to cover the ring. The camera zooms in onto the lowering cage and then the picture fades into Chap and Elij sitting at the announce table. Theo Chaplin - Welcome back to Monday Night Shock live from Kemper Arena. On this evening the PWA Head Offices have decided to have the main event as the first match on the card to honour those who perished in the tragic incidents of this last week! Elijah Page - So hold tight, here we go!!! ![]() Pacific International Championship Referee: Iceberg The Ego vs Hugh Jorgan "No Mo Play in GA" by Pastor Troy hits as the crowd boos. Iceberg walks down the ramp with a tanktop referee t-shirt on. Iceberg climbs through the door of the cage as.... "Fat Lip" by Sum 41 blasts into the Kemper Arena as The Ego walks down the ramp with a black armband on his upper arm. The crowd has erupts as he climbs to the top of the cage from the outside. He looks down at Iceberg from the top of the cage as... "Bootylicious" by Destiny's Child hits the arena. Hugh Jorgan walks down the ramp. Jorgan climbs through the door and starts yelling at The Ego. The Ego yells right back and then climbs down into the ring as Iceberg closes the door and locks it. Theo Chaplin - Here we go! The only way to win is over the top. Bothe competitors stare a hole into one another, as Iceberg calls for the bell. Theo Chaplin- Do you really think that Iceberg is going to be a fair referee? Elijah Page- Of course I do! He's in business with Sid Sharpe, an honest man! Theo Chaplin- I beg to differ! Jorgan and The Ego lock horns, the PacInt Champ taking over. He backs The Ego into the corner and begins lashing into him. He hits some lefts and rights, but The Ego quickly escapes, tripping Hugh Jorgan into the corner. The Ego then lashes into the champ, but Iceberg puts himself between the two, backing The Ego off of Hugh Jorgan. Jorgan steps up from the corner and hits The Ego from behind. He locks on a side head lock and nails a bulldog. Jorgan waits as The Ego pulls himself to his feet, but Jorgan comes from behind again and smashes The Ego's face against the cold, hard steel of the cage. He then drags The Ego, rubbing his face on the metal. Theo Chaplin- Hugh Jorgan showing no mercy whatsoever! Elijah Page- And that's exactly why he is the Pacific International Champion! Hugh Jorgan then whips The Ego off the ropes and goes down for a back body drop, but The Ego retaliates with a swinging neck breaker. Both men are up, but The Ego connects with a hard right, followed by another and another. He bounces Hugh Jorgan off the ropes and on the rebound, takes him down with a hard spinebuster. The Ego then climbs to the top of the cage, as Hugh Jorgan follows. The Ego kicks back, nailing Jorgan int he face. Eventually, he falls to the mat. The Ego makes it to the top of the cage. Theo Chaplin- The Ego looking for the early win! Elijah Page- I don't think so Theo! The Ego dives off the top of the cage, onto Hugh Jorgan, in a cross body block-like move. Iceberg's jaw drops to the mat. Both men are down, The Ego clutching his midsection, screaming in pain. Theo Chaplin- I don't believe the intestinal fortitude of The Ego! To dive some fifteen, twenty feet in the air, all the way down...that takes guts, and The Ego is real resoected in my book! Elijah Page- Yeah well your book sucks! The Ego is using the cage to pull himself to his feet, as Hugh Jorgan does the same. Iceberg watches. Hugh Jorgan rushes The Ego, but the Ego sidesteps and sends Jorgan crashing into the cage. The Ego comes from behind and hits a side russian leg sweep. He then locks on a figure four leglock. The Ego cries out. Theo Chaplin- Hugh Jorgan with a very technical move in this very not technical match-up! Elijah Page- That's the beauty of Hugh Jorgan. He'll pull off something unexpected...even if it is as elementary as a figure four leg lock! The Ego uses the cage rungs to his advantage, and turns the leg lock over, applying the pressure to the PacInt Champ, Hugh Jorgan. Jorgan screams out in pain, but Iceberg kicks The Ego right in the ribcage. Theo Chaplin- What the hell?!?! Elijah Page- Go Bergie Poo! Iceberg then lifts The Ego to his feet and goes for the Ice Pick, but The Ego escapes, and hits a DDT on the referee. The Ego then hits the Humbler! Theo Chaplin- What chaos inside that cage! The Ego then goes to climb the cage, but Sid Sharpe runs down the ramp, armed with a steel chair. As The Ego climbs the cage, Sid Sharpe nails the cage with the chair, crushin The Ego's fingers. Hugh Jorgan begins climbing the cage as well, close behind The Ego. Both men have made it to the top, where they are exchanging blows. Sid Sharpe enters the ring throught he door. Theo Chaplin- What's Sid Sharpe got planned?!?!? Elijah Page- I dunno! But I have a feeling I'm gonna like it! Atop the cage, The Ego has Hugh Jorgan staggering. The Ego then braces himself ont he cage with his arms. He swings his legs up and wraps them around the neck of the Champion, and then, flips him over, flying back into the ring, taking out Sid Sharpe! Theo Chaplin- A modified version of Don't Wanna Miss A Thing from the top of the cage!!! Elijah Page- Yess!!! That was awesome! The Ego then climbs down the other side of the cage, and drops to the outside. Theo Chaplin- The Ego wins! Yes! The Ego, new PWA Pacific International Champion!!! ![]() The Ego collects himself off of the arena floor as the fans begin to chant "E-Go!" He walks around the ring and grabs the Pacific International Championship off of the bell table and starts climbing back up the cage. The Ego reaches the top and raises the Pacific International Championship high over his head as the crowd chants even louder as Monday Night Shock goes to commercial break. ![]() During the commercial break The Ego climbs down from the cage and taunts Iceberg who is recovering from The Humbler. The Ego walks back up the ramp as the cage raises back to the ceiling allowing Iceberg and Sid Sharpe to help Hugh Jorgan to the back as the countdown flashes onto the PacificVision. ![]() Monday Night Shock comes back from commercial break with a shot of Al Winchester standing in the hall outside of the the mysterious commissioner's office. Al Winchester - I'm going to try and get a word with the new commissioner. Al Winchester opens the door and walks into the office where a single lamp is illuminated sitting on the corner of the desk and an easy chair is seated so that you can only see the back. Al Winchester - Commissioner? Commissioner? Could I have a moment of your time? Voice - At Before You, I will be there. Live to make sure that Sid Sharpe knows which way to go to get to his destiny... hell!! Al Winchester walks to the easy chair and peers over to try and sneak a peek. Voice - Nice try. I will reveal myself for the first time at Before You! Al Winchester picks up and looks at a tape recorder/player that was sitting in the chair and then puts it back down. ![]() Canadian Championship Chris Ponger vs Da MAB "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana plays and the fans give a mixed reaction to Chris Ponger walks out looking cocky, ready to win the Canadian Championship. He steps in the ring, as..... "Nightmare", Da MAB's rap song beats through the speakers as we see Razzle Dazzle Girl walk out and the fans cheer. She's holding the Canadian title and then Da MAB walks out behind her. They walk to the ring, down the aisle, with Razzle Dazzle Girl pumping Da MAB up on the way. Da MAB slides in the ring, and goes after Ponger. The bell rings to start the match as Ponger nails Da MAB with a few rights and then whips him to the ropes. Da MAB comes back and Ponger delivers a hard powerslam. Ponger quickly covers Da MAB, 1...Da MAB kicks out with ease. Ponger gets Da MAB back up and whips Da MAB to the corner. Ponger charges at Da MAB, but Da MAB quickly moves out the way as Ponger runs chest first into the top turnbuckle. Da MAB grabs Ponger from behind and drops Ponger to the mat with a belly to back suplex. Elijah Page - I don't know who to cheer for in this match, they both suck! Da MAB gets Ponger up and executes a DDT. Da MAB building up steam, stomps at Chris Ponger as Ponger tries to protect himself. Da MAB brings Ponger to his feet, he whips him to the ropes, Ponger bounces back and Da MAB lays Ponger down with a back body drop. Ponger holds his back as Da MAB covers him, 1....Ponger powerfully kicks out. Da MAB waits for Ponger, who staggers to get up. Da MAB runs at Ponger, nailing him with a power clothesline. Ponger quickly gets back up but goes right back down with another clothesline from Da MAB. Elijah Page - Let's go Da MAB, because Ponger sucks! Theo Chaplin - Oh shut up, you are a commentator, just call the match. Ponger gets up and charges at Da MAB, but Da MAB sidesteps and throws Chris Ponger over the top ropes. Ponger hits the outside hard and Da MAB climbs to the top rope. Ponger slowly gets up, he grabs a steel chair from under the ring. Da MAB leaps off, going for a flying cross body, but Ponger steps out the way and swings the steel chair, hitting Da MAB in the head as Da MAB hits the floor. Da MAB has been cut open as Ponger gets Da MAB up and throws him head first in the ring post. Da MAB's cut opens more and he is now bleeding profusely. Ponger throws Da MAB back in the ring, Ponger covers Da MAB, hooking the leg, 1....2....Da MAB gets a shoulder up. Ponger looks in disbelief, he gets Da MAB up and sets him up for a piledriver. Ponger jumps up, driving Da MAB's head into the canvas. Da MAB's blood covers the canvas in crimson, Ponger covers Da MAB, 1....2......Da MAB kicks out again. Ponger looks around at the fans. Theo Chaplin - Looks like Chris Ponger can't put away Da MAB. Da MAB will not give up his Canadian title that easily. Elijah Page - Exactly, wow Theo, you actually have some common sense. Theo Chaplin - Wow Page, you actually are being an ass like you always are. Elijah Page - Errrm, ummm, your momma! Ponger whips Da MAB to the corner, who just lies in the corner, barely able to stay up. Ponger puts Da MAB on the top turnbuckle. Ponger grabs Da MAB, going for a superplex, but Da MAB jabs Ponger in the ribs. Ponger falls down and hits the mat, Da MAB gets up and jumps off, nailing Ponger in the chest with a flying elbow drop. Ponger holds his chest as Da MAB drops two more elbows to his chest. Da MAB gets Ponger and whips him to the ropes, Ponger reverses and attempts a clothesline. Da MAB ducks, going behind Ponger and hits the MAB2KO out of nowhere. Ponger is layed out, Da MAB lays almost motionless and can't capitalize. Theo Chaplin - Looks like Da MAB has ran out of gas and he can't succumb enough power to roll over on Ponger. Elijah Page - What are you doing? Pin him, you know what nevermind, let's Ponger! Da MAB throws his arm over Ponger, the ref notices Da MAB going for the pin and counts, 1....2.....Ponger just raises his arm up, getting his shoulder up just enough off the mat. The crowd gasps as Da MAB is shocked that he didn't get the three count. Then Ponger springs up while Da MAB is still laying down, Ponger kicks Da MAB in the face. Ponger grabs Da MAB's legs and kicks him in the groin. Da MAB now in extreme pain, tries getting up but Ponger kicks him back down. Then Ponger is heard yelling at Da MAB to get up, Da MAB slowly rises, Ponger waits as Da MAB turns around. Ponger grabs Da MAB and goes for a powerbomb, but Da MAB flips Ponger over in a modified hurricanrana. Da MAB gets up and scoops Ponger, slamming him hard onto the mat. Da MAB delivers a quick leg drop, then covers, 1...2....Ponger kicks out. Theo Chaplin - Chris Ponger is relentless, this man wants that Canadian title around his waist! Elijah Page - Well it's going to be hard, because Da MAB is getting his second wind like a fat woman at all you can eat buffet! Da MAB pulls Ponger up, Da MAB snap suplexes Ponger down, holds on and delivers a second snap suplex. Ponger screaming in pain, Da MAB connects on a third snap suplex. Ponger holds his back, Da MAB flips Ponger over and stomps him in the back of the head. Ponger covers his head as Da MAB continues to stomp away at the downed Ponger. Da MAB grabs Ponger by his arm and drives his knee into Ponger's elbow, then again, and does for a third time. Da MAB drives his knee in Ponger's elbow again but this time he keeps it their, wrenching Ponger's elbow, applying more pressure to it. Ponger screams as the ref asks if he wants to submit. Ponger shakes his head no, and then Da MAB lets go. Ponger slowly gets up, holding his injured arm, Da MAB runs at Ponger but Ponger kicks Da MAB in the midsection. He goes around Da MAB and lands the Ponger Drive. Ponger hooks the leg as the ref counts, 1.....2.....Da MAB lifts his right shoulder off the mat about an inch. The f! ans gasp, thinking Chris Ponger had the win. Ponger gets up and signals for the end. Elijah Page - No! He's going for his finishing move. Theo Chaplin - A new champion will be crowned if Ponger can hit The Whatever. Chris Ponger climbs to the top rope, he looks around at the crowd, some flashbulbs go off. Then Ponger leaps, almost diving as the arena fills with flashing lights. Ponger comes down, but Da MAB rolls out the way. Ponger lands hard on his injured arm, he holds it while Da MAB gets up and goes to Ponger, locking in the Nightmare Grasp. Chris Ponger immediately taps out, and Da MAB lets go of the hold. ![]() The referee hands the Canadian Championship to Da MAB as the fans cheer. Da MAB raises it high above his head and then leaves the ring. ![]() The Ego is walking around the back wearing the Pacific International Championship backwards and carrying the Japan Pro Championship. The Ego walks into an office where the only light is sitting on the desk and an armchair is turned around facing a book case. The Ego - Hey Commish! Nice to meet you. The new Commissioner doesn't respond. The Ego - Anyways, as you know I just won the Pacific International Championship and now I have two championships. Well, I came in here to forfeit the Japan Pro Championship to you. The Ego lays the Japan Pro belt on the desk and starts flicking the lamp on and off. The Ego - Lamp goes on, lamp goes off, lamp goes on, lamp goes off. The Ego stops playing with the lamp and turns around runs out the door into the wall across the hall. He stumbles around a bit and then walks away as Monday Night Shock goes to commercial break. ![]() During the commercial break fans in the arena are treated to exclusive footage that didn't air on television. It shows The Ego running back into the Commissioner's Office. He walks around desk and spins the chair around to reveal that all that is in is a tape recorder/player. The Ego: Hmmm, where's the commish? Oh well. The Ego picks up the recorder. The Ego: Luke, I am your father. The Ego then stops the recorder and places it back on the chair as the countdown hits the PacificVision. ![]() Monday Night Shock comes back from commercial break with a shot of Sid Sharpe outside the commissioner's office. Sharpe bursts into the office, he spins the chair around to see that the commissioner is once again not in the arena. Sid Sharpe then presses play on the recorder. Voice - Luke, I am your father...... Sid Sharpe looks confused at the recording. Voice - ...... sure that Sid Sharpe knows which way to go to get to his destiny... hell!! Sid Sharpe tosses the recorder across the room and it shatters against the wall. He then notices the Japan Pro sitting on the desk. He picks it up. Sid Sharpe - So, The Ego has forfeited his Japan Pro Championship. Hmmmmm. Sid Sharpe's eyes light up as he walks out of the office carrying the Japan Pro Championship as the scene fades out. ![]() Da MAB is shown in the back polishing his Canadian Championship when Chris Ponger jumps him from behind. Ponger attacks Da MAB and starts to pummel him with a fire extinguisher. PWA referees and officials pull Chris Ponger off of Da MAB as the scene fades. ![]() The camera zooms in on Chaplin and Page sitting at ringside. Theo Chaplin - Ladies and gentlemen, the new commissioner whom we still do not have a face for has just booked a match over the phone for the pay per view. At Before You there will be a Japan Pro Open. Apparently, the new commissioner has extended an invitation to every single wrestler in the back to take part if they so wish... Elijah Page - A Japan Pro Open? This Commissioner thinks he can just walk in here and throw his weight around? Well, Sid Sharpe will have something to say about that. Theo Chaplin - The rules of the Open Match are simple, it is elimination style. Only pinfalls will count. And the only rule is that there are no rules!! ![]() Technine vs The One "Bodies" by Drowning Pool hits and pyro shoots up as The One walks through the curtain. He walks down the ramp to no crowd reaction and slides into the ring as... " Blow Your Mind " by Redman hits throughout the arena. Sparklers shoot up as Technine makes his way to the ring. Technine and The One are circling each other. The One starts out fast with a side headlock. Technine reverses it into a hammerlock. The One pats him shoulder, ducks and nails Technine with a right hand. Technine fires back with a right hand. The One comes back and knees him in the midsection. The One whips Technine in the ropes. Technine runs back, and ducks the clothesline from The One, and connects with a back kick and The One falls to the canvas. Technine makes the cover, but only gets a two count. Technine picks up The One and throws him in the corner. Technine kicks The One in the gut. Technine tries for a punch, but The One blocks it and rocks Technine with a stiff right. Theo Chaplin- Technine feeling that right! Elijah Page- The One, showing who's boss right off the bat! The One hits Technine again with a right hand, and Technine falls to the bottom turnbuckle. The One starts to stomp away on Technine, and then backs off and taunts to the crowd. Technine pulls himself up and nails The One in the back of the head. He grabs The One's knee and slams it down on the mat. The One screams in pain. Technine does it again. He then drags The One over to the ropes and places his leg on the bottom rope. Technine jumps up on the second rope and sits down on The One's leg. The One is screaming in pain as referee checks to see if he gives up. Technine shoves the referee away and does it again and The One screams out again. Technine backs off as The One uses the ropes to get up. The One is limping over to Technine. The One gives him a right hand. Technine falls back to the ropes, but comes back and dropkicks The One's leg right out from under him. Technine covers as the referee falls to the mat; 1 �... 2 ��.... The One lifts the shoulder off the mat. Theo Chaplin � That was close two! Technine goes back to the attack on the knee. He stands on the good leg and wrenches back on the injured knee. The One is screaming out in pain. His shoulders fall to the mat and the referee counts; 1 ��.. 2 ��.. The One lifts his shoulders off the mat. The One reaches and has the ropes. The referee counts to four and Technine breaks the hold. The One stands up and has his leg up, and Technine kicks it out from under him again. Technine laughs as The One is in pain. He then climbs to the top rope. The One uses the ropes to get back on his feet. Technine flies off and connects with a missile dropkick. The One flips over on his stomach. Technine rolls him back over. Technine hooks the leg as the referee counts; 1 ���. 2 ����... The One barely gets the shoulder off the mat. Technine can't believe it. Theo Chaplin � The One is in a bad way right now. Elijah Page � He was never in a good way so how can he be in a bad way? Technine picks up The One's lifeless body. The One elbows him in the stomach. Technine lets go. The One hobbles against the ropes and runs back towards to Technine. Technine tries for knee, but The One rolls him up; 1 ����.. 2 ������.. Technine kicks out and runs over The One with a huge clothesline. Technine picks up The One and tosses him in the corner. Technine turns around and taunts the crowd. The One comes out of the corner, spins him around and hits the Devestator, his trademark move. Technine down and The One could win the match, but fatigue has set in. Elijah Page- A little tired, eh? Theo Chaplin- Both men giving it their all in this extremely physical match up! The One crawls over and puts an arm over Technine. The referee slides in to make the count; 1 ������... 2 ��������. Technine just barely gets his left shoulder up. The One can't believe it. The One is still down and Technine crawls over to the turnbuckles and uses those to get to his feet. The One is on one knee as Technine is on his feet. Technine comes over, but The One sweeps him of his feet and Technine hits his head hard on the mat. One stands up all the way and leaps and does a somersault splash on Technine. One stays on Technine and the referee makes the count; 1 ����.... 2 �����.. No! Technine kicks out once again. Theo Chaplin � This is one helluvan exciting match! No one is giving up. The One picks Technine up and kicks him in the gut. The One bounces off the ropes and connects with a swinging neck breaker. The One covers as the referee drops to the mat; 1 �����.. 2 ������... Technine kicks out. The One picks up Technine again, but this time, Technine slaps The One's hands away, and delivers a huge DDT leaving both men lying on the canvas. Technine rolls over and drapes his arm across The One; 1 ��������.. 2 �������.. The One sneaks his shoulder off of the mat! Elijah Page � Come on, someone win the match. I can take anymore of this 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2, it sounds like I�m in a damn marching band. Technine gets up slowly and climbs the top rope very slowly. The One is still down. Technine jumps and tries for a flip splash, but The One moves out of the way, and Technine lands hard on his back. The One climbs to his feet and rolls Technine over and hooks on the Ankle Lock. Technine is screaming in pain as he reaches for the ropes. Technine is gonna tap. Technine reaches and has his fingertips on the ropes. The referee tells The One to break the hold. The One does so, and Technine holds his ankle. The One shakes his leg out. He then pulls Technine back to the center of the ring and puts Technine's ankle down and delivers a leg drop to his ankle. Technine screams in pain as The One picks him up and delivers a snap suplex. He floats over and makes the cover as the referee counts; 1 ������.... 2 ������.. Technine rolls the shoulder off the mat. Elijah Page � For crying out loud. This match is taking to long, I�m going to get a coffee. Cover for me Chap. Theo Chaplin � I will not. You keep seated in that chair and do your job. The One picks up Technine. Technine drops down and delivers a low blow to The One. Technine then picks him up and spikes him with a huge pile driver. The One looks to be out cold as Technine rolls him over and makes a cover; 1 ������... 2 �������... The One amazingly manages to kick out. Technine thought it was over. Technine then picks The One up and places him on the top rope. Technine throws The One off and connects with a suplex. The One floats over and nails Technine with a punch. The One gets to the top rope, but Technine goes against the ropes and The One straddles the top turnbuckle. Technine goes up there and sets up for a powerbomb and connects with the Top Shot! Technine falls on top of The One as the referee counts; 1��������....2������������..3 Theo Chaplin - Technine wins! Finally an end to this brutal match up. Elijah Page � Finally, it�s over! ![]() After the match ends Technine rolls out of the ring and helps himself to the back using the guardrail and walking next to the ramp leaving The One lying in the ring. ![]() Al Winchester is standing in the back in front of the aqua backdrop with the Shock logo on it. Standing next to him is "Smooth" Sammy Stevenson. Al Winchester - Earlier today it was announced that you and newcomer to the PWA, Kaine Doomhammer, will be locking horns at Before You. What are your thoughts on this? "Smooth" Sammy Stevenson - My thought? I have no thoughts on this because Kaine Doomhammer is just another guy who thinks that he can hang with Sammy. At Before You he will find out exactly why my name is Smooth and why I am better than everyone!! Scotty Cocoa - Tonight my esteemed colleague, Chris Mask will be taking John Storm's place as he has taken a leave of absence from this fed. Chris Mask - Distress, don't think for one second that I'll be an easier opponent for your weak ass. Just because you may out number three, two doesn't mean that you have an advantage, it just means that we're going have more fun taking you guys out! Distress, Major Distraction, and Wild Child rush into the room and jump Cocoa and Mask. Cocoa and Mask manages to turn the tables on them as Mask slams Major Distractions in the door causing him the crumple to the ground. Cocoa then grabs Wild Child and the two trade punches as Mask and Distress start to trade punches. Distress whips Mask into the wall and then he and Wild Child double team Cocoa, piledriving him into the concrete floor of the locker room. Mask stands up and grabs Wild Child as Cocoa lays prone on the floor. Chris Mask hits the Reality Check on Wild Child onto the edge of the bench in the locker room as the scene fades. ![]() During the commercial break the traditional beach ball breaks out by the stage. One of the fans accidentally hits it onto the stage. Another fan races up the ramp and kicks the beachball back into the crowd as security is cuffing him for trespassing. The beachball bounces around the crowd for another minute until two security guards dive head first into the crowd and manage to grab it at the same time. The countdown flashes across the PacificVision. ![]() Monday Night Shock comes back from commercial break with dozens of paramedics in the locker room attending to Scotty Cocoa, Wild Child, and Major Distraction with Chris Mask and Distress nowhere to be seen. ![]() Sean Donato is standing with the newcomer Kaine Doomhammer in the back. Sean Donato - Well, Kaine Doomhammer, earlier today you were booked into your first ever PWA match slated at Before You against Sammy Stevenson. Kaine Doomhammer - ............ Kaine Doomhammer walks away leaving Sean Donato standing there. Sean Donato - Well, uh, there you have it. Kaine Doomhammer is, um, speechless. Sean Donato looks bewildered as he shrugs his shoulders and the scene fades. ![]() Sid Sharpe is in his office in the back with the Japan Pro Championship lying on his desk when Iceberg storms in. Iceberg - What is that runt doing? He just forfeited the Japan Pro Championship. A mischevious grin crosses Sid Sharpe's face. Sid Sharpe - I know. It's perfect isn't it? Iceberg - What the hell are you talking about? We were supposed to be wrestling for that on Friday!! Sid Sharpe - You'll see Sid Sharpe grins from ear to ear as the scene fades out. ![]() Chris Mask w/Perfection Inc. vs Distress w/The Progeny " Dig " by Mudvayne hits throughout the arena. Fireworks shoot up fromt he stage as Distress and Chris Mask brawl out onto the ramp and the music cuts off. Elijah Page - Well, we found out where those two got to. Distress slams Mask's head into a metal tube on the stage. Distress then leads Mask down to the bottom of the ramp where he suplexes him back onto the ramp. Distress lifts Mask to his feet and tries to whip into the security barrier but Mask reverses and sends Distress into it. Chris Mask then lifts Distress up and rolls him into the ring. Chris Mask slides in the referee finally calls for the bell. Chris mask dropkicks Distress and Distress falls face first into the bottom turnbuckle. Chris starts kicking and stomping at Distress. He picks him up and whips him into the ropes. Distress runs back and Chris nails him with a high leg clothesline. Chris picks him up and gives Distress with a right hand. He hits him again and puts Distress into an arm drag, but holds on for an arm bar. Distress gets up and flips Chris over his shoulder and connects with a flip splash. Theo Chaplin- Distress with an impressive maneuver! Elijah Page- It ain't enough to keep Chris Maks down, I'll tell ya that! He gets back up and Chris does too. Distress tries for a sidekick, but Chris ducks it and sweeps Distress off his feet. Distress pops up and Chris nails him with a hard left hand that shakes Distress. Chris Mask hits him again and Distress falls back into the corner. Mask kicks Distress in the gut and walks to the other corner. Chris runs and nails Distress with a huge clothesline that almost sends Distress over the top rope. Chris throws Distress into the corner, but Distress hangs on and brings Mask to him and connects with a belly to belly suplex. Distress gets up and makes the cover, but only get a two count. Theo Chaplin- Distress real impressive today! Although he can't quite seem to keep Chris Mask down! Elijah Page- That's because he can't! Distress picks up Chris and throws him to the outside. Distress follows. Distress tries to ram Chris Mask's head into the announce table. But, Chris stops him, and elbows him in the stomach. Chris takes Distress and rams his head into the announce table. He bounces off. Chris takes him and rams his head into the steel post. Distress falls to the matted floor. Chris Mask stands on the security wall. Distress stands up and Chris nails Distress with a moonsault. Chris Mask taunts to the fans. He picks up Distress and rams his head into the steel post again. Distress is bleeding from the forehead. Mask throws him back in the ring. Mask climbs to the apron. Distress gets up. Mask slingshots himself over the top rope and nails Distress with a dropkick. Mask covers. 1 .. 2 .. Distress kicks out. Chris Mask picks up Distress and whips him into the ropes. He tries for a clothesline, but Distress ducks and pulls Chris down by his hair. He waits for Mask to get up and nails Mask with a super kick. Distress rolls up Chris Mask. 1 .. 2 .. Mask gets out of it. Elijah Page- Ya see...that's the beauty of being a great superstar. You can take a beating early on, and still come back and whoop some ass! Chris gets up. Distress throws him into the ropes. He lifts him over the top rope and thinks Chris hit the floor. Chris lands on the apron and pulls Distress down. Mask jumps over the top rope and connects with a slingshot leg drop. Chris makes the cover. 1 .. 2 .. Distress kick out again. Distress uses the ropes to get up. Distress nails Chris Mask with a right hand, but Chris returns and nails Distress with a huge left hand and it makes Distress drop to one knee. Chris slides out of the ring and grabs a chair. He runs at Distress, but Distress trips him and Chris lands on the second rope. Distress picks up the chair and waits for Chris to turn around. Distress nails Chris Mask in the head as he turns around. He just flattened him. Distress makes the cover. 1 .. 2 .. No! Mask kicks out of the chair shot. Chris is out still and Distress drops the chair and pick up Mask. Distress kicks Mask in the gut and delivers the Stinger, his trademark move, on the steel chair. Distress crawls over and hooks the leg. 1 .. 2 .. Chris Mask kicks out again. Very impressive! Distress picks the chair up and whinds it up one more time. Chris uses the ropes to get up. He turns around and Distress levels him with another chair shot. Distress makes the cover. 1 .. 2 .. No! No! Chris Mask will not stay down. Theo Chaplin- What a match this has been! Distress tries and he tries but he can't keep Chris Mask down! That won't be too helpful at Before You! Distress goes underneath the ring and pulls out a table. He sets it up in the ring. He hoists up Chris Mask and puts him on the table. Distress climbs to the top rope. He jumps, but Mask moves and Distress goes crashing through the table. Mask rolls over and makes the cover. 1 .. 2 .. Distress kicks out again. Mask flips up, and places the chair in between the third and second rope in the corner. He picks up Distress and whips him right into the chair. Distress drops to his knees and crawls over to Mask. Mask grabs the chair and slams it into Distress and on his back. Distress looks to be out. Chris Mask looks under the ring and pulls out a ladder. Distress is up. He puts the ladder in the ring, but Distress dropkicks it and the ladder goes sliding into Chris and he falls hard on the floor. Distress climbs to the top rope. Chris gets up and climbs on the apron. He jumps on the ladder and it hits Distress in the back of the head and knocks him back into the ring off the top rope. Theo chaplin- Oh my god! The carnage! The carnage! Chris Mask sets up the ladder in the corner. He picks up Distress and whips him right into the ladder. Distress falls. Chris climbs the ropes and he is on the ladder. He lets the ladder go, still on it, and the ladder crushs Distress. Mask moves the ladder and makes a cover. 1 .. 2 .. No! Distress kicks out again. Mask can't believe it. He picks up the ladder and slams it on Distress. Chris raises Distress up and whips him into the ropes. Chris runs, but Distress pulls the referee in the way and Chris nails him with a clothesline. Distress runs, but Chris trips him up. He hooks his legs and rears back into a chinlock. The Harsh Reality. He has him in the Harsh Reality, and Distress is tapping out, but the referee is down. Distress is tappin like a baby, but the referee is down. Chris Mask lets go, and tries to revive the referee. The referee is using the ropes. Chris turns around and Distress gives him another low blow and nails him with The Vex. It's Over! Distress hooks the leg, but the referee is still not up. He makes the count. 1 ..... 2 ..... Thr.. No! Chris Mask kicks out of Distress and his finishing manuever. Distress is slamming the mat. Chris has grabbed the chair. Distress turns around and gets nailed with the chair from Chris. Chris crawls over and makes the cover. 1 .. 2 .. Distress moves the shoulder off the mat just in time. Theo Chaplin- OOOOooooo, another close call! Elijah Page- How many times do I have to tell you, close calls don't count!!! Chris Mask stands up, and signals to the crowd for the Reality Check. He turns around and gets nailed with a clothesline from Distress. Distress is on top of of Chris and he is punching him with left and right hands to the face. He is not stopping. The referee pulls him off, but Distress nails the referee with a right hand. The referee is out cold. Distress picks Mask, and runs him over with a clothesline and it sends him into the corner. Distress grabs the chair and puts it up and dropkicks the chair right into Chris Mask's face. Distress goes underneath the ring and he is looking for something. Distress grabs a glass pitcher. Chris gets up, and Distress swings, but Chris ducks and kicks Distress in the gut, he drops the pitcher. Chris picks it up and crack it over his head. Distress is out cold. Chris Mask makes the cover. Another referee runs down. 1 .. 2 .. Distress kicks out. My God, what a match! Chris stares at the referee. Distress gets up slowly. Chris runs at him, but Distress picks the chair up and levels him and Chris Mask is out. Distress is holding on to the ropes. The Choice Scotty Cocoa walks down the ramp holding his head. He slides into the ring. The referee is checking on Mask. He spins Distress around and gives him the No Choice! Scotty rolls out of the ring and stumbles back to the back. The referee turns around and realizes that Distress is out also. Chris starts to get up. He picks up Distress, and gives him the Reality Check on the chair. He makes the cover and hooks the leg. 1 ........... 2 .............. 3!! Theo Chaplin - Chris Mask wins, but thanks to Scotty Cocoa. ![]() Chris Mask rolls out of the ring and walks up the ramp to back to check on Scotty as paramedics file down the ramp to help Distress from the ring. ![]() The Ego is shown walking out of the new Commissioner's Office in the back carrying his Pacific International Championship as Monday Night Shock goes to break. ![]() During the commercial break a commercial airs for the PWA Hall of Fame inductions which take place on the Wednesday and Thursday just prior to Before You. The countdown flashes across the PacificVision. ![]() Monday Night Shock comes back from commercial break with Da MAB recovering in the back from the sneak attack by Ponger, earlier. Spencer Cohle walks up to him. Spencer Cohle - Da MAB, what are you going to do about Ponger? He seems to have a problem with you. Da MAB - Chris Ponger! You want to sneak up on me with a fire extinguisher?! Well, this Friday at Before You I am challenging you... no, I am telling you that we are going to have a match. A Bloody Submission match. That means for me to win I have to make you bleed and then I have to make you submit, in essence you have to be bleeding before I can even attempt to make you submit. Spencer Cohle - A Bloody Submission match. Quite a match. Will the Canadian Championship be on the line? Da MAB - Damn straight, now get outta here. Spencer Cohle scurries off before Da MAB does something to him as the scene fades. ![]() "Lay Low" by Snoop Dogg roars into the Kemper Arena. The raucous crowd boos as Sid Sharpe walks through the curtain. Sid Sharpe walks down the ramp and climbs into the ring with the crowd still booing. Sharpe grabs a mic from the ring announcer. Sid Sharpe - Alright, this new commissioner is beginning to piss me off. He walks in here, no, he doesn't even walk in here. He just starts booking matches from wherever his pansy ass is and thinks that he's going to run me out of here. He tells me that I'm going to be in hell. Well, I have news for him. Sid Sharpe will not lay down for anyone. I'll be waiting for him at Before You. And the second he shows he's gonna know what its like to piss Sid Sharpe off. The crowd starts to chant asshole as Sharpe rants about the new commissioner. Sid Sharpe - Speaking of pissing me off. Ego!! The crowd erupts with the mention of his name. Sid Sharpe - Ego, you forfeited your Japan Pro Championship earlier tonight which means that there is no championship on the line in your match against Iceberg at Before You. From my point of view that is not just! You had better put your newly won Pacific International Championship on the line to right your wrong! The crowd is booing Sid Sharpe until "Fat Lip" starts up. The fans in the arena erupt as The Ego walks through the curtain wearing his Pacific International Championship backwards. The Ego stops halfway down the ramp and pulls the mic out of his waistband. The Ego - You all suck! The crowd cheers as Sid Sharpe throws a fit in the ring. The Ego - If you stop running your damn about how you're scared of the commissioner for just one second you would realize that I have just made the change to the card with your good buddy, the new commissioner, I left a note on his desk in the back, and my Pacific International Championship has been put on the line! Sid Sharpe - I'm not scared of him! The Ego - Yeah, right. Just like Bergie Poo isn't scared of me. That's a hoot! The crowd cheers as Sharpe kicks the bottom rope. The Ego - Welcome to hell Siddy Pie. I think I'm going to enjoy Before You. The Ego walks down the ramp and walks around the ring. He stands on the opposite side of the ring just Iceberg races down the ramp. The Ego - Gee, how did I know that he was waiting behind the curtain? Iceberg slides into the ring next to Sid Sharpe and takes the mic. Iceberg - You think you're so smart Ego? You think that you have this all figured out, don't you? Well, let me be the first to tell you that your reign as Pacific International Champion will only last until Friday where weapon weilding lumberjacks and a barbed wire ladder will lead me on my way to victory. The Ego - You think so huh? Well, this Friday at Before You, you won't wanna miss a thing. And here's a preview. The Ego drops the mic and slides into the ring. Iceberg and The Ego start brawling around the ring as Sid Sharpe climbs out and watches. The Ego and Iceberg spill outside of the ring and start fighting around ringside. Theo Chaplin - Iceberg!
