Boys and girls residing in the Pleasant Valley School District will be divided into gender-specific teams. These teams will then play against other gender-specific Pleasant Valley teams at Pleasant Valley gyms only.
Practices will be scheduled for weekday evenings or weekends; anytime on Saturdays and Sundays after 12 noon. Games will be played on weekends only and will be held in either PVI, MS or HS. Practices will start mid-November. Games will start in December and continue through early or mid- February. The length of the season depends on the amount of teams registered.
Parents are needed to coach in this program. Coaches' clinics are offered.
Students (age 16 and older), trained by PIAA officials, will serve as officials for the U9 program. These students are current/ former PV basketball players and former PVYA players who have continued with the program in this new capacity.
Volunteers are needed to learn to "run the clocks." These volunteers could be siblings (age 13 and older) who are currently involved in CBL who would like to learn the clocks in order "move up" to being a timekeeper for CBL games (age 15 and older).
