The PVYA Chain of Command is as follows:

Player
     Parent
     Coach

Player Rep
     Board of Directors

As a player it is your responsibility to discuss any problems that arise with your coach and/or parent. Younger children may have parents intervene in this instance.
As a parent, it is your responsibility to discuss any problems that arise with your child's coach.
If there is no agreement between the player/parent and the coach, a meeting with both parties and the Player Representative must be scheduled.
If there is still no agreement after a meeting with the Player Representative, the Player Rep is to take the matter to the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors will then notify all parties in writing of either a decision or a meeting in front of the Board.
If the problem is the coach, the parent and player are to approach the Player Rep. The Player Rep is to handle the situation with the coach. If no solution can be reached, the Player Rep is to bring the complaint to the Board of Directors.
If after all other avenues have been exhausted and either the player, parent, or coach are unsatisfied with the outcome of any situation that has arisen, it is at that point that a meeting is to be requested with the Board of Directors.

In order to be placed on the Agenda of a meeting of the Board of Directors, a written request must be submitted to the Secretary of the BOD no less than 10 days prior to the next BOD meeting.
