Instructions and Assignments

The assignments listed below are to be completed during the allotted time period. Your assignments MUST be saved in your individual folder and MUST have the exact name as seen in the table below. After the test date, no more work will be accepted for assignment one.

You will be working at your own pace. I will be giving short lessons at the beginning of most classes. Then, you will be able to work on the assignments. If you find you cannot keep up, you may use the computers in the computer lab to work during any free time you have. If the computer lab is closed, there are computers available in the library for you to use. The library is open for student use, but you will need a note from me to work on your assignments. Please see me to borrow a book to do make up work.

You will take an online test at the end of each project. The day before the online test, we will review for the test. You will have one period to complete the test, and you will be allowed to use your book and the computer during the test if you find it necessary. If you are absent for test day, you WILL make up the test the day you return to class.

Practical Tests consist of following directions to complete a project. These tests usually take one class period.

Cheating will not be tolerated! If you are caught cheating or sharing work, both you and the person supplying the work will get a "0" for that project. If you get caught a second time, you and the person supplying the work will fail the marking period. If you are on the Internet or working on other software (not doing what you are supposed to be doing) your grade will be lowered.

You will have an assigned seat and computer. Stay at that computer unless the teacher moves your seat.

Below are the Assignments for Project One. They are to be done in the order listed. In order for you to get the most out of this course, it is necessary that you read ALL pages of each project in the book. DO NOT SKIP pages.

Your computer is for you to use to complete your Access assignments, and is not to be used to for anything else. There are no exceptions. If I see you using any other programs, making changes to your desktop, or doing anything but Word on your PC you will referred to administration for disciplinary action.
