FINcube's service modules offer common services to business modules. Service modules are typically combined with one or more business modules to enrich the functionality of a FINcube application. The table below lists the service modules that are currently available or being developed.

| Broadcast |
Module to "broadcast" messages to groups of users or individual users of a FINcube application. The module contains a back end component to create, modify, delete and retrieve messages and front end components to maintain, activate and de-activate messages and to list and browse messages from the perspective of a single user. | Calendar |
Module to maintain a calendar for any type of FINcube component. The module contains a back end component to create, modify, delete and retrieve calendar entries and a front end component to browse, print and maintain a calendar for a specific component instance. Available Q4 2004. |
| Common Data |
Module to maintain arbitrary types of common data, for example tables with code descriptions. The module contains back end components to create, modify, delete and retrieve common data and front end components to maintain and to lookup common data. Available Q3 2004. |
| Notepad |
Module to keep notes in an electronic notepad and attach this to any type of FINcube component. The module contains a back end component to create, modify, delete and retrieve notes and a front end component to list, print and maintain notes for a specific component instance. |
| Request Queue |
Module to register requests related to any type of FINcube component, for example to trigger a batch process. The module contains back end components to create, delete, retrieve and change the status of requests and front end components to find, list, print, hold / release and cancel requests from the perspective of a single user and a system or queue administrator. |
| Transactionlog |
Module to log transaction events, such as 'component added', 'component updated' and 'component deleted' for any type of FINcube component, for example to keep an audit trail. The module contains a back end component to create, delete and retrieve log entries, a front end component to find, list and print logged events and a similar component to clean up a transaction log. |
