ENTRY FEE

Registration: $ 20.00, all runners/walkers, includes 2^nd Annual 5k Run/Walk tee-shirt (guaranteed for the first 100 entrants) and post race food and drinks.

The smoke-free “SPORTS ZOO” will host a post- race reception and ‘cook-out’ included in entrance fee—Non- runners can join the festivities for a $10 pre-paid fee or pay $12 on race day.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The race begins at the SPORTS ZOO, then EAST, up the hill that is Ridge Street…down hill and will continue flat until it ends back to the finish line… at the SPORTS ZOO.

AWARDS AND AGE GROUPS

1^st place overall male/female runner and walker will receive a plaque. 2^nd through 5^th place overall male/female runner AND walker will receive a special medal.

Medals will be awarded to the male and female runners only in the following age groups: Age 14 and under (1 place), age 15-19 (1), age 20-24 (2), age 25-30 (3), age 31-34 (3), age 35-40 (3), age 41-44 (2), age 45-49 (2), age 50-54 (2), age 55-59 (1), age 60-64 (1), age 65-69 (1), age 70 and over (1). In addition, 1^st through 3^rd place medals will be given to cancer survivors.

RACE REGISTRATION

Pre-Registration can be done via mail, with checks payable to: SPORTS ZOO, and mailed to The Sports Zoo, c/o Katie Moran, 390 West Snyder Ave., Lansford, PA 18232. Any questions regarding the race, contact Katie Moran at 570-778-1173. Race-day registration will be held from 8:00 am to 9:30 am at the Zoo. Race packets will include the 2^nd Annual race tee shirt, race numbers and fasteners, plus an assortment of ‘freebies’ as is available. Don’t forget Jesses’ post race cook out at the Zoo too!!!
