Diehl Field

A nice cross-wind landing; wing down, one gear compressed, other not touching, tail still flying, opposite rudder, slight elevator.  Not bad eh?

Fueling the Wing Tanks.
Fuel is poured into a water and contaminant filter where it then drains into one of the 5-gallon wing tanks
Although the tanks can cross-feed during flight, the fuel valve is shut off when fueling. Due to a centered fuel filler neck, the plane must be level (raise tail) for a complete fill.  Note the prop position to avoid backing into it (been there-done that)

My 50 X 800' runway after
two hours of mowing.
Approaching my runway from the NE.  As the season progresses, corn or milo becomes a concern as it grows in the tilled earth.
