You always knew that life would be too short.
To sit around and do nothing
Now you have proved that by going on and
Preparing a place for us!

Now the letters once written for you
Are fading into the paper
Now the flavors have all rotted away.
Just now before my eyes.
Now the beautiful writing on a piece of stone
Has faded away into just a piece of rock.

But you will have immortality
Because of your actions and memories.
Those will live with us.
And as we pass it on to our kids
And to future generations.

Don’t let anyone tell you
That you will not be immortal.
Because as long as someone...
No matter how small the memory…
Remembers you
Then you will be immortal!
