Beginning Until Today

The world's first father lived alone

"Til God saw he was lonely.

The animals all had a mate

But Adam, He was boney!

So God took one of Adams ribs

And made for him a mate.

When from the garden they're expelled.

God said, "Go populate."

Now ages later, at this time

Which we call Father's Day

We honor each and every Dad

In our own special way.

Some buy him ties, some give him socks

Some take him out to dinner.

But any way you honor him

He still comes out a winner.

We pray each dad will serve the Lord

And follow His instructions

To write the words deep in his heart

Then teach to his productions.

To Dads across the world we say

Today is just for you.

So take advantage while you can

Your special days are few.

We love you Dad, all jest aside

To honor you'our pleasure.

We pray your day will be full of

God's blessings, with great measure.

It's Father's Day, it's Father's D to the end

And all Dad'say

All Dad's stand up and cheer.

For if it hadn't been for you

We'd none of us be here!

From the beginning to the end

And all dads in between.

We love and onor you today

Along with Christ our King!

Happy Father's Day 2000
