ERIC, the Educational Resources Information Center, could best be colloquially described as the "mother lode" of education related literature and research. Established in 1966,
it is supported by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Educational Research and Improvement, and The National Library of Education. ERIC continues to expand the resources available online making it an even more useful and powerful resource.

WebED - Bob Koechley, District Librarian for Belleville Schools in Wisconsin, started a list of online resources for schools three years ago and hasn't stopped. Though devoid of any detailed descriptions, he has categorized the long list of links he maintains and no doubt you will
be intrigued by some enough to jump in and get your feet wet.
Dole Foods - A free cd "5 a Day Adventure" which is an educational/entertaining program designed to encourage children to eat five servings of fruits and vegetables every day."
TEACHERS HELPING TEACHERS - This is a free, non-profit service. It costs nothing to access the information, and no money is made from teachers who contribute. Material on this service is updated weekly during the school year.
