Where do you get all this strength your talking about?
Jesus
Romans Road to Salvation

The Romans Road to Salvation is named after the book of Romans in the Bible.  Written by Paul, it outlines the basics for salvation.
What do I need to be saved from?

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
Meaning that no one in this world is perfect.  Everyone has messed up sometime even if it's just telling a little white lie.  "No honey, that outfit looks wonderful."  A sin is a sin.

So big deal, I messed up once.  Why should I worry?

Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
This means that even one little screw up is enough to mess you up for eternity.  But notice the last half of the verse?   God knew we would mess up and he provided a solution for us.  He payed the price for our sin by sending His Son to die for us.  And we're not talking about a quick and painless death.  We're talking about torture including being whipped until His skin looked like raw hamburger and iron bolts hammered through hands and feet.  As if the physical torture weren't enough, the very people He was sent to save and was enduring all of this for, turned their back on Him, mocked him and gambled for his clothes.

That was pretty gross.  So if this gift is free, I repeat, why should I worry?

Romans 10:9 "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
You should still worry if you haven't accepted the gift.  Like any other gift, a gift doesn't mean anything if you don't accept it.  What good is a check someone gives you if you never cash it?  You can accept this free gift by praying a simple prayer.  There's no right or wrong way to pray.  Just tell God what your feeling and ask Him to come into your life.
Believe that Jesus died for your sins, confess that you are a sinner and need His forgiveness, receive His forgiveness and accept His gift of eternal life.

You know, I thought this whole Jesus thing was a bunch of malarkey but since I've asked Him in my life I feel like a new person.  I feel great but I have no idea what to do next!

2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!"
You should feel like a new person because you are one!  The main things to do now are to read your Bible, pray and find a good church.  Reading your Bible helps you learn about God and what He wants for your life.  Praying builds your faith and keeps you in communion with God.  A good church will help you learn and provide encouragement and support.  The definition of a "good church" is one that follows the Bible.  Don't believe everything you hear just because it comes from a pulpit, test everything against the truth of the Bible.
