Edgar Allan Poe
- Edgar
Allan Poe was born on January 19,
1809 in Boston, Massachusetts.
- He attended
the University of Virginia
in 1826, but he was expelled for not paying his debts in gambling.
- He
suffered from depression and in 1848 he attempted suicide.
- In
1836 he married his 13 year old cousin, Virginia Clemm,
who died of tuberculosis, after being sick from a burst blood vessel.
- He
died on October 7, 1849 in Baltimore.
