Journal #2 - Failed Test

In three different paragraphs, describe why you failed to your parents, teachers, and friends.

If I had failed a test, people would probably want to know why I failed. Friends would be the easiest to talk about my failed test because they just support me and don’t care as much as parents and teachers do. I would say, “I didn’t study.” They would understand and say some like you will do better next time to encourage me to try harder next time in order to get a better grade.

My teacher would want to know why I failed his/her test. I would tell them the truth even though they never believe you. But I would tell them that it the information on this test was a lot to know and a very hard concept to learn, even after studying hours for the test. Also tell them that I should have asked more questions in class about the subject and got more help if I wasn’t understanding it. In response, they would say you need to do better next time, this is not good for your grade in the class.

The hardest thing to do is to explain why I failed the test to my parents. They would be upset and know I can do better. I would tell them that the test was hard and that I studied and knew everything I needed to know but the test was extremely hard. They would offer to help me study next time and perhaps I could do better on the next one after studying.
