| The Dagat Clan, the Clan of Ninja, the secretive clan thought only to have been a legend... it existed. In the past, the clan was only used at the emperor's will. What jobs he needed done, evil or good, were carried out in secret by these ninja. They served the emperor, and were indifferent to corruption. The clan was held by a pledge. It came to pass one day, that the clan broke from this pledge. Religion stepped before politics and empty promises. When the Spiritual Seven's lives were on the death list, the clan took a complete turn. They ignored the emperor, and protected the Spiritual Seven as long as possible. The clan was almost wiped out because of this. Domagas, the Daimyo and Impure Eighth, took upon him the services of another clan... the Apoy. The Apoy swept over the Dagat Clan like wildfire upon dry feilds. Each dojo was located, and destroyed. The Dagat was forced to run with the Spiritual Seven, and protect them continuously. But... you can only run for so long. When the clan reached a small island off of the Southern Province, they found that they were trapped. Domagas had finally found them. Domagas, alone, was there. He killed the Spiritual Seven, who were willing to die... and in turn was killed by the Dagat leader. Both a blessing, and a curse befell unto the Dagat clan... a blessing, and a curse. |
