i don�t want to grow up
i don�t want to be an adult
adult people are boring
adult people are cruel

i want to be old
i want to be retired
�cause then i can look back at my life
and remember the good old days
when people knew the meaning of respect

and i can live my life peaceful �til i die
�cause i know for sure i wont have to live in the future
because the future scares the hell out of me
and that�s why i don�t want to be young either

but maybe it�s good to be young
�cause i know im a part of the next generation
and i might be able to change things
i might be able to change the world

the whole thing confuses me
am i supposed to raise a family
and put children into this world?
im not so sure about anything anymore

i don�t want to grow up
to be an adult

�cause then i�ll be able to grow up
and i certainly don�t want to die
�cause i might be able to change the world

maybe just a little bit?
