^^ Main character of the story....you'd never guess his name really isnt kenshin XP ish SHINTA *pokes shinta* and his parents died when he was 5 (aww lil orphan shinta o.O;;; i found dat somewhere...ill put the link up sometime x.x) and dese "nice people" named Kasumi, Akane and Sakura (@_@ no nabiki?) took care of him for a while...den dese robber pplz killed dem X_X!! and and Hiko saved Shinta and renamed him Kenshin cuzz he said shinta was a girly name:
Hiko: *kills robber pplz*
Shinta: o.o;; thnx
Hiko: Whats your name
Shinta: Himura Shinta
Hiko: -.- whadda girly name..u cant be a swordsman if ur name ish dat girly i rename u...Kenshin! it means heart of sword
Shinta: @_@ swordsman? *faces other side of Hiko*
Hiko: (-.- he needs glasses -.-) Baka deshi! *whaps him in the head putting in his purple contacts at the same time*

so yea >.> den at 15 he lefteded hiko after he whapped him on the head and pplz hired him to kill ppl and after 18 he lefted being Battousai (nickname given cuz of his battoujutsu skills ) and started wandering around japan cuz he was too poor to buy a map o.O aka being a rurouni and den yea....to kno the rest u jus watch the anime ^^
