2.  OSCAR2 KAHLER(KOEHLER) (JULIUS1) was born 1860, and died in New York.  He married AUGUSTA GABRIEL.  She was born 1862.

Notes for OSCAR KAHLER(KOEHLER):
Oscar/Oskar came into the states on Aug 26 1886 through Castel Gardens from Annaberg,Germany. He was 27 at the time he came to New York.
also, on the ships manifest there was a PAUL KOEHLER with Oscar.



Notes for AUGUSTA GABRIEL:
Augusta came into Castle Gardens in 1887 with the three dau's : Elsie, Hattie and Mildred. It showed that they were of Prussian origin. Anna Vogel as a child was with them as a relative. Showed Mildred's name as : MATHILDE

Notes for HENRIETTA (HATTIE) KAHLER (KOEHLER):
Hattie is the birth mother of all three children. Her name could have been called as Harriet also, being that HARIET and HENRIETTE both come from the same male name: HENRY soemtimes used as HARRY.
Hername listed on the ship list was HEDWIG and is the feminine name for HARRY or HENRY.
When she came here it may have been pronouced as Henriette to americanize it, and the nick name for this name is HATTIE ro HETTIE or HEDDY.

John is the natural father of all three children.
