UFFL TIEBREAKERS
TO BREAK A TIE WITHIN A DIVISION
If, at the end of the regular season, two or more clubs in the same division finish with identical won-lost-tied percentages, the following steps will be taken until a champion is determined

1. Head to Head
2. Division record
3. Total Points
4. Total Points Head to Head
5. Total Points in division games
6. Week by Week Head to Head ($)
7. Best combined ranking in off-def points (#)
8. Last team to be there is out (+)
TO BREAK A TIE FOR THE WILD-CARD TEAM
If it is necessary to break ties to determine the two Wild-Card clubs from each conference, the following steps will be taken.
1. If the tied clubs are from the same division, apply division tie breaker.
2. If the tied clubs are from different divisions, apply the following steps.

1. Head to Head
2. Total Points
3. Week by Week Head to Head ($)
5. Best Combined Rankings in off-def points (#)
5. Last team to be there is out (+)
($) - Week by Week Head to Head -
Say the teams played each other every week of the season, better record goes to the playoffs

(#) - Best Combined Rankings -
Team A finished 4th in offense and 5th in defense, Team B was 4th in defense and 6th in offense,
Team A would go to the playoffs

(+) - Last Team -
The NFL has as their last tie breaker a coin flip, kinda hard for us to do that since we are not usually all together, this Last Team thing is actually taken from college football, for example, the winner of the Big Ten goes to the Rose Bowl, if there is a tie for the champion of the Big Ten then the team that has not been to the Rose Bowl the longest goes. Or to put it in our terms, Team A last went to the playoffs in 2001, Team B last went to the playoffs in 1998, Team B would go to the playoffs. If both teams last went to the playoffs in the same year, continue to the previous year.
Note: 'Team' here refers to your franchise, so even if you just took the team over this season this tiebreaker would go back thru the history of your team.
Three or More Clubs
(Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of applicable two-club format.)
1. Apply division tie breaker to eliminate all but the highest ranked club in each division prior to proceeding to step 1 of the Wild-Card tie breaker.

OTHER TIE-BREAKING PROCEDURES
1. Only one club advances to the playoffs in any tie-breaking step. Remaining tied clubs revert to the first step of the applicable division or Wild-Card tie breakers. As an example, if two clubs remain tied in any tie-breaker step after all other clubs have been eliminated, the procedure reverts to step one of the two-club format to determine the winner. When one club wins the tie breaker, all other clubs revert to step 1 of the applicable two-club or three-club format.
