In the town centre (signposted from Luton rail station), you are on George Street (the main town centre street) facing the Town Hall frontage (cannot miss it), the road going up the left side of it (your left) is Upper George Street, Venue 27 is (not amazingly) number 27. The Forum is located on the central Common in Tunbridge Wells. It is 400 yards from the BR train station; walk out of the station, past Safeway supermarket and carry on along the road until you have the Common on your right hand side. Walk along this road until you come to the King Charles the Martyr Church and The Forum is then directly opposite you on the Common. It is the only building in view. To drive, from the M25 take the A21 to Sevenoaks and Hastings, junction 5. Turn off at the junction signposted to Tunbridge Wells and follow the road right the way into the main town. At the first mini roundabout, take the right hand of the two available forks ahead of you and then follow this road right the way down a long hill until you have the Common on your right hand side. After some traffic lights and a load of bands, you will see a row of shops and a chuch. The Forum is directly opposite these on The Common.

From
Colchester station head down Station Way, over two roundabouts onto
Station Road (heading towards town, more or less south). Walk straight down
for about half a mile (at some point the road becomes North Hill). If you
reach the dual carriageway (South Way) you've gone too far. The road to
The Arts Centre is a right turn into a small street (can't remember if this
is Church Street, but it probably is). You come out into a kind of square
- The Arts Centre is an old church ahead and to the left (nearby to the
right is The Mercury Theatre). From Colchester Town station, from St. Botolph's Street, cross the road and go up Osborne Street which becomes St. John's Street. At the end turn right into Head Street, the road to The Arts Centre should be the first on the left (again, probably Church Street, but not entirely sure). |

You can't miss it, the venue is opposite the graveyard of St Mary's Church, next to the purple turtle bar. It also backs onto the Oracle, Europe's allegedly biggest shopping centre

All buses which stop at the station will take you to Hanley. CARDIACS fans living in Crewe or Northwich or Winsford, South Cheshire can get tickets from the Omega Music Chain.
