“Gia, will you please stop that?” Nik said as he looked up at her.
It was the night of their wedding and they had just made love for their second
time as man and wife. He watched a nude Gia bounce up and down on the bed above
him, and although he was enjoying the view, he feared she would hurt herself, or
break the bed.
“I can’t, I’m just so happy. I feel like bouncing on the bed, like I did
when I was a kid.” Gia said smiling down at him as she continued to jump.
Nikolas had enough and brought his hand out, wrapped it around her leg and
pulling it towards him, bringing her tumbling down. Gia’s head hit the bed
hard.
“Ouch!” Gia exclaimed as she held her now throbbing head in her hands.
“See you could hurt yourself.” Nik said. Gia glared at him and pinched his
arm.
“I wasn’t hurting until you pulled me down.” Gia whined. Nik smiled over
at her, as she was now lying next to him on the bed. She looked so beautiful.
His body hovered over hers and he kissed down on her lips.
“I’m sorry I hurt your head.” Nik said softly as he looked down at her.
“Forgiven!” Gia exclaimed, pulling him down for a heated kiss. They parted
from the kiss and Nik wrapped Gia up in his arms as she rested her head on his
chest.
“I never want this to end.” Gia frowned as she felt her eyelids going
heavier.
“Me either Sparky, but don’t worry. I’ll figure out a way for you to see
me again.” Nik said in her ear. They both gave into their exhaustion and
drifted into a deep sleep.
~The next morning~
A tiered Gia and Nikolas stepped out of their hotel room very early in the
morning and walked over to the door next to them, knocking lightly when they
reached it. Lucky opened the door and he and Courtney came walking out. Gia
noted that they looked like they got just as much sleep last night as she and
Nik had. Nik grinned over at his sleepy brother.
“Did you have a good time last night?” Nik asked. Lucky smiled back at him.
“Yeah, did you?” Lucky asked, knowing the answer having heard the noises,
they were not exactly queit.
Gia smacked Nik’s arm to stop him from saying another word about last night to
Lucky. She rolled her eyes at Courtney, who broke into a smile.
The car ride home was a quiet one; Nik drove until they reached the sign that
said “Welcome To Port Charles” on it, at witch point Lucky took over.
Allowing Nik and Gia time to lay together like they had the way up there. Lucky
drove until he reached the Kelly’s parking lot.
“I don’t want to say goodbye.” Gia said as she held onto Nikolas.
“I know Sparky, but soon, I’ll find a way, haven’t I always been able
to?” Nik asked. Gia nodded her head sadly.
“I love you Nikolas, always.” Gia whispered as she leaned in and kissed him,
soft and slow, wanting to savor the moment.
“I love you too Gia, forever.” Nik said he caressed her face. They both had
tears in their eyes as Gia pulled away, slipping on her sunglasses and scooting
out the door. She glanced in and weakly smiled at her husband before
disappearing from his sight.
Gia and Courtney slipped into the bathroom of Kelly’s and changed into the
clothes they had packed, grateful that the diner was practically empty. Both
coming out of the bathroom fully dressed and looking refreshed. They located
Courtney’s car and headed over the Gia’s cottage. When Gia pushed the door
open, they were shocked to find a ton of people there. Gia’s whole family was
there, even Taggert. Courtney’s mother Jeanine was also there and they all
looked like they were about ready to kill the two of them. “Where the hell
have you two been?” Sonny was the first person to ask.
Nik arrived at Wyndemere, not really expecting anyone to be home. He wanted to
be alone and he figured his home would be just the place to be for that, seeing
as how there were rarely people there. Mrs. Landsbury greeted him but was being
unusually quiet. Nik walked into the living room and was shocked to see both his
father and his uncle sitting on the couch. “Hello son, I think we need to
talk.” Stovros said as he looked up at Nik.
