Lucky drummed an unknown melody on the steering wheel of his black classic
mustang. Nikolas was in the back lying down across the back seat, hiding from
sight. Lucky looked over to see Courtney walking up with who he knew to be Gia
but to the average eye looked to be a teenaged boy. Gia opened the door to the
car and glanced in to see Nik smiling up at her. His feet were facing her as his
legs were stretched out and his head was propped up slightly so that he could
look at her, keeping his body down low. Gia smiled rather devilishly at him and
climbed in, her body hovering over his completely and she slowly lowered herself
so that she was now fully on top of him. Courtney quickly got in the front seat
and Lucky pulled out of the Kelly’s parking lot.
“Gia, you can’t lay like this the whole ride, I’ll go nuts.” Nik said
quietly. She smiled at him.
“Why not?” Gia asked innocently.
“OK, suite yourself.” Nik said as he nuzzled his face in her neck. Nik’s
tongue darted out and latched onto her ear lob. She gasped as he ventured
further into her ear.
“Your right, plus we should wait until after we get married.” Gia said
pulling away from him. Nik made a face.
“Maybe I’ve changed me mind? You look so cute dressed up like that.” Nik
said. Gia shook her head and laughed. She was wearing a pair of baggy jeans, her
braids were tucked under a backwards baseball cap, and she wore a big black and
white flannel shirt. She had already removed the dark sunglasses she had on
earlier.
“So where are we going to get married? And please don’t say a little chapel
in Vegas.” Gia said. Nik laughed.
“I’m not going to tell you. But I will say that it is not in Vegas.” Nik
said.
“How long will it take to get there?” Gia asked.
“Well let’s just say that you should get comfortable.” Nik said as he
pulled Gia to his side to that she was now lying next to him.
~Sonny’s Penthouse~
“Juan, I want you to tell me what’s going on with Gia.” Sonny said as he
paced around the room. He had been concerned about her even since their family
diner last night. She hadn’t said much throughout the meal and she rushed to
leave. Saying that she was going to spend the weekend with Courtney.
“You know how she is about Marc.” Juan said. Sonny glared at him.
“Juan that’s not it and you know it. We know her better than anyone,
something’s bothering her.” Sonny said.
“Well I wasn’t going to tell you anything about this, but she had a run in
with Cassadine yesterday.” Juan said, he watched as shock filled his brothers
face.
“Cassadine? What did he want?” Sonny asked.
“He said he wanted to make sure Gia was OK. But you should have seen her
Sonny, she was so nervous.” Juan said.
“That’s it!” Sonny exclaimed before exiting his penthouse.
~Lucky’s car~
Nik looked down at Gia, as she lay asleep in his arms, like she had been for an
hour now. She looked so beautiful as she slept, like an angel. He couldn’t
believe that he was about to marry this amazing woman. He thought about the
absolute kayos that just smiling at each other would cause to their families let
alone their unity. But he thought about what his life would be without her and
knew he could not let her go.
“Hey, we’re at the turn off bro.” Lucky said, tearing Nik from his
thoughts.
Nik lightly shook Gia awake, he smiled as she yawned and smiled up at him.
“Where are we?” Gia asked sleepily as she looked around.
Gia was shocked at what she saw; they were at a beautiful lake, with tons of
pine trees above them. Lucky drove up a windy road and stopped when they reached
a beautiful old church. He parked the car and they all got out to look around.
The minister that Nik had spoken to over the phone came out to great them. Nik
introduced him to Gia and they all walked in.
“You did all this Nikolas?” Gia asked when they were alone.
“I knew that we couldn’t have our family’s here but I wanted this day to
be special. Something we’ll remember for the rest of our lives.” Nik said,
kissing her softly on the lips.
“Thank you.” Was all Gia could say as she looked up at him with tears in her
eyes.
~Wyndemere~
“Mr. Cassadine, there is a Sonny Corinthos here to see you.” Mrs. Landsberry
said as she walked into the soft-lit office. Stovros looked up at her, confused
by her words.
“Let him in.” He said, extremely curios about the visit from a man he
hadn’t seen in years. Sonny walked into the room when Mrs. Landsberry opened
the door and abruptly walked over to the desk in front of him.
“Where is that bastard son of yours tonight?” Sonny demanded. Stovros was
shocked, he hadn’t heard much from Nikolas all week because he was staying
with his brother. He wondered why Nikolas would have anything to do with Sonny
Corinthos.
“Sonny, it’s a pleasure to see you again. I’m sorry but I’m not quite
sure where my son is at the moment. Is there something I can do for you?”
Stovros asked smugly.
Sonny swiftly moved around the dark oak desk and grabbed hold of Stovros’
charcoal gray Armani suit.
“Yeah, you can tell him to stay the hell away from my baby cousin or I will
send him to hell where he will rot with his asshole grandfather Mikkos.” Sonny
said looking him dead in the eye. He pushed the man away from him and left the
room as quickly as he arrived. He left a stunned Stovros alone with thoughts of
where his son might be. He picked up the phone and dialed. “Stefan, I need to
see you. It’s about Nikolas. Please come right away.” Stovros said and then
disengaged the phone.
