Stefan was concerned about his nephew, was he really in love? Stefan tried to think of who it could be. The only person the he could come up with was the Webber girl. But he was sure that if Nikolas really loved her that he would know. He knew his nephew so well that he would be able to tell if he did and he didn’t get this feeling.

Nik came home that evening with Gia on his mind. He couldn’t get what happened at Kelly’s out of his head. The way she spoke to him. It was like she hated him. It hurt so bad that she would think that way about him. He thought he was in love with her and he was hoping that she would feel same way.

Nik walked into the den and was surprised to see the light on in his uncle’s office. He and his father were not expected back until later that week.

“Uncle, this is a surprise!” Nik said stepping into the room.

“Hello Nikolas, yes my help was no longer needed.” “Your father is going to finish the rest.” “However I need to work here.” “So I’m going to go over to Alexis’s to work on some things with her.” “I shouldn’t be back until morning, I’ll just stay at her and Kristina’s place after I’m done.” Stefan said.

“OK well I guess I’ll let you get back to work then.” Nik said turning around.

“Nikolas wait, can we talk for a minute?” Stefan asked. Nik turned around and sat in the chair opposite his uncle.

“What is it uncle? He asked.

“Well, you don’t know this but I’ve been back since this morning and I overheard you talking with you brother.”

Nik’s heart started to pound. How much did her hear? He thought.

“Nikolas I heard you say that you think that you’re in love?” Stefan said.

“Uncle, I asked Lucky if he believed in love at first sight.” “I thought maybe I might be in love with Elizabeth but I saw her today and I realized that I’m not.” Nik said.

“I’m sorry Nikolas.” “Love can be a truly wonderful thing that I hope you experience some day.” Stefan said.

“Thank you uncle but I’m fine.” “I realized that Liz wasn’t the one for me but that doesn’t mean that there’s not someone else out there for me.” Nik said. Thinking of Gia.

“That’s right Nikolas.” “Just believe that.” “Now I really do have to work.” Stefan said.

“Uncle can I ask you about something?” Nik asked. Stefan looked up at his nephew and nodded. “It’s about the Corinthos’ Nik said.
