Star Crossed Lovers CH 14 part 2

“Gia what the hell is going on?” Courtney asked.

She and Gia ran all the way to the doc’s from Kelly’s. Courtney didn’t understand her friend’s actions.

“Why did I do that?” Gia finally spoke.

“I know it’s not like you to run away from a fight like that.” Courtney said.

Gia was getting frustrated with Courtney’s lack of understanding.

“No, Court I mean the way I yelled at Nikolas.” Gia said.

“Wait did you just call him Nikolas? And how do you even know that was him?” Courtney asked.

Gia needed to tell someone. She looked around to see if anyone was listening and lowered her voice.

“Courtney, I need to tell you something.” She said in a whisper.

“Last night, I met Nikolas Cassadine at the party.”

“What? When?” Courtney asked.

“Look, I don’t know what Juan tolled you but Josh tried to rape me last night.” Gia said.

“He what?” Courtney was shocked. She didn’t know Josh very well but she never thought he would do something like this.

“He tried to rape me but Nikolas Cassadine came in and stopped him.” Gia said. Courtney was speechless.

“So he saved you?” She asked.

“Yeah and that’s not all, I think I might be in love with him.” Gia said.

Courtney shook her head in disbelief. “A Cassadine and a Corinthos?” She said out loud. “Gia how can you be sure that its love?” Courtney asked.

Gia thought about this. How could she be sure if this was love? But she knew that these feelings that she was having, was something she had never felt before.

“Courtney, the only way I can describe it is love at first sight. Is this crazy?” She asked.

“No.” Courtney said. “I believe in love at first sight.” “You need to be with him Gia, just do what’s in your heart.” She said. Gia thought about what Courtney was saying. She was right. She needed to make things better. She picked up her cell phone and dialed.

Juan: Hello?
Gia: Hey cuz, it’s me!
Juan: Gia? Where are you I’ve been looking everywhere for you?
Gia: I’m with Courtney I’m fine, really.
Juan: Well let me come pick you up.
Gia: No, Juan I need sometime to myself. I’m going to stay at Courtney’s tonight.
Juan: Gia
Gia: Please Juan I need this.
Juan: (short pause) Fine, I’ll call you in the morning OK?
Gia: OK
Juan: Love you!
Gia: Love you too Juan.

Gia hung up and turned to face Courtney.

“I’m going to Wyndemere tonight.” Gia stated, a wicked smile spread across her face.
