Pushed Away CH 4

~~~~~Luke’s~~~~~

“Come on hot stuff, show us what you’ve got!!" Luke shouted at Gia from behind the bar. That was his new nickname for his newfound friend. He liked that free spirited girl with all the braids.

“I don’t think you could handle what I got Luke” Gia said with a wink. Luke grind from ear to ear. Gia started to dance for him. Swaying her hips back and forth, moving her hands up and down her body. Lucky and Luke shared a look as Gia danced to the song “Middle” By Jimmy Eat world.  She was having so much fun. “Come here you,” She said to Lucky. They danced and laughed for hours. Gia was in the middle of talking to Luke when Lucky suggested that they leave. It was 1:00 in the morning and she didn’t want to leave. Luke was her new friend and she wanted to stay and have fun with him but it was late. So reluctantly, she let Lucky take her home.

Nikolas hadn’t looked up from his work in hours. He was so tired he could barley see. Looking up at the clock he noticed that it was 12:00. Where is Gia? He thought. They should be back by now, he thought. Going up stairs he got ready for bed thinking that Gia would be home any minute. He got in bed and waited for her to come and finally gave up at 12:30. Nikolas was so exhausted he fell into a deep sleep.

Gia got home at about 1:20 in the morning. She went to her and Nik’s room and found him fast asleep. Even while he was asleep he looked exhausted. Poor baby, she thought. Nik didn’t wake up once when Gia was getting ready for bed or even when she got in bed and snuggled up next to him. God she missed this man! When was the last time they went to sleep at the same time? Closing her eyes, Gia too fell into a deep sleep.

Nik was relieved when he woke up and found Gia in bed next to him. He was concerned that something happened to her. Thinking about what a responsible guy his brother was, Nik realized that he might have been over reacting a bit last night. Kissing Gia’s cheek he attempted to wake her up but realizing that she must be out cold since she was up so late, so he gave up. He didn’t have time to spend with her today anyway. He had a meeting with a very important investor today.

Gia woke up to the sound of the shower running. Peeling her eyes open she looked around for Nikolas. When her brain started working she realized that he was in the shower. She jumped out of bed wanting to talk to him before he left for the day. She nearly fell on her face, her legs weren’t quite working yet. Steadying herself she walked to the shower.

Nik jumped when the shower door was opened.

“Gia!” Nik yelled. “You scared the shit out of me!”

Gia just smiled. Not saying a word she leaned in and kissed him, her tongue slid into his mouth and she circled it with his. She kissed him for so long that they both had to catch their breath when they pulled away.

When Nik got his voice to work he looked at Gia, with a smile he said, “good morning Sparky.”  “Hi” Gia said. “How was your night?” Nik asked. "I had so much fun!” “I love Luke!, he’s my new friend."  "He’s one of the coolest guys I know.” "I said one of", noticing the look on Nik’s face. “So what are you up to today?” Nik asked. “Oh Lucky it going to the mall with me.” Gia said. Nik looked shocked. He couldn’t believe she had talked his brother into that. “Well have fun.” Nik said. “Hey you need help with that?” Gia asked taking the soap away from him. “Actually I’m in a hurry, so I’ll do it.” Nik said taking the soap back.  Gia closed to door and went back and sat on the bed. Tears streamed down her face. She quickly wiped them away.

Gia watched Nik’s bent form as he put his socks on, his head bent over. Standing up she walked over to him and brought his head up to hers. God she missed him so much. She kissed him passionately, only to have him pull away. “Gia, I can’t” Nik said focusing on his socks again. Gia sighed and went to get dressed for the day.
