Pushed Away CH 2

Gia was upstairs pouting still. How could Nikolas not want to spend time with her? His wife, the woman he supposedly loved! Gia had begun rambling to herself. “Why the hell is he so bossy now days?” "And what makes him think that he can just send me away?" "I’m getting so tiered of this shi….."

Gia’s rambling was interrupted by a knock at the door.

"Who is it?" Gia asked, getting up off the bed. “It’s Lucky!” Came his cheerful voice from the other side if the door. Gia ran to the door, excited to have someone new to talk to. “Hey Lucky!” Gia exclaimed as she swung the door open. Gia seemed cheerful but Lucky could tell that she was upset. And when she motioned him to come in, he noticed the fallen picture, telling him that she was probably VERY upset. “What’s up Gia?” He asked as he sat on the bed. “Man, I am so mad at Nikolas right now!” Gia said. "He just sent me up to my room like some kid!" "Can you believe he did that?" Gia continued talking not even letting Lucky respond. “He says he has work to do and I know that’s true but he just has no time for me any more.”

Lucky could tell the she was starting to get pretty upset so he decided rather than to let her keep talking to try and help.

“Look Gia." Lucky said as he gently grabbed her hand witch along with the other one was flailing all around. "I know that it seems like he doesn’t have any time for you right now but I think that’s just because things are a little bit crazy right now." "I think that soon things will settle down and he’ll have more time to do stuff with you."

Gia thought about what Lucky said. It’s not like Nikolas has had any experience being a prince. It’s just probably going to take a little while for things to come together a little better. I guess I can wait a while longer for us to have more time together. I love him so much and if that means me giving him a little space to get things together than I guess I can deal with it.

“Yeah your right Lucky, thanks!” Gia said with a smile. “Hey that’s what friends are for." "Now instead of just sitting here doing nothing, why don’t we go out?" Lucky suggested.

“And do what?” Gia asked. "Hmmm I don’t know whatever you want to do." "We could go to Kelly’s?" Lucky suggested, but busted out laughing at the look of disgust on Gia’s pretty face. “Ummm I guess that’s a no,” he said with a little chuckle.

“Lucky, can I tell you a little secret?” Gia asked. "What?" He asked, leaning in a little to hear what she had to say, but winched as she screamed in he’s ear. "I WOULD RATHER EAT CAT FOOD THEN TO STEP ONE FOOT INSIDE THAT GOD AWFUL EXCUSE FOR A DINER!!" She screeched. She started cracking up when Lucky tried to cover her mouth with his hand. “OK OK I get it!” Lucky said as she finally calmed down. "But I never thought you had that big of a problem with Kelly’s before?" Lucky said. “Well that was before when I was “trying” to fit in with your little “Breakfast Club” Gia stated. Lucky made a face at her little name for the group of people he use to consider friends. "OK, so Kelly’s is out… how about my dads?" Lucky asked. "Luke’s?" Gia pondered briefly. “Sure, sounds great!” Gia said. "Come by around 7:00 or so?" Gia suggested. “See you then!” Lucky kissed her on the cheek and left.

Nik probably won’t even notice I’m gone. Gia thought as she tried to think of something to wear.
