Gia was exhausted from her trip to Luke’s; all she wanted to do was sleep. She went in and got changed into her sleep shirt and shorts, one of the many outfits she had to buy with Lucky so that she didn’t have to go back to Wyndemere to get her clothes.

Lucky came out of the bathroom with a pair of pajama bottoms on and went go get some water. “You pretty tired?” He asked Gia who was pulling the blankets back from her side of the bed. She yawned and nodded her head. “Yeah your dad wore me out!” Gia said. “He so should not have challenged me to darts.” Gia laughed. “Yeah but it was fun watching you whip his butt.” Lucky said laughing. Gia got into bed and covered her self up.

She was resting her eyes when they were startled open by a laud pounding on the door.
Lucky looked over from his spot in front of the refrigerator abruptly. He glanced over at Gia who lifted her head from her pillow slightly. Lucky walked over to the growingly louder knocks at the door. He swung the door open to find Nikolas standing in the doorway.

“Lucky have you seen Gi..” Nik’s voice trailed off when he looked behind Lucky’s shoulder and saw Gia lying in his bed. His heart sank as tears rimmed his eyes. “What, you’re sleeping with my wife now?” He spat, looking fiercely at his brother. “Nikolas it’s not what it looks like.” Lucky said. “Oh shut up Lucky!” Nik said pushing past him. Nik walked over to Gia who sat up as he neared. He was walking so fast she thought he was going to hit her. She pushed herself back on the bed when he came close.

Nik was crying now. She thought that I was going to hit her, he thought sadly. “Gia.” He said softly. He reached for her but she backed up even more. “Gia come with me please. It’s time to go home,” Nik said. “No Nikolas I’m not going with you.” Gia said strongly. “Gia please, I miss you.” Nik said. Gia was sitting with her knees pulled into her arms. She burring her head in her knees briefly before shaking her head no. “Nikolas you didn’t even know that I was gone.” Gia said. “Gia, I’m sorry I just got so busy.” Nik said. Gia bolted up off of the bed and walked up to him. “Nikolas you could have come to find me a long time ago!!” “You had no idea where I was! I could have been dead by now and you wouldn’t have even known!” Gia yelled. “Gia don’t say that.” Nik said. “Why not Nikolas? It’s true!” “What happened Nikolas? Did you run out of work to do and got lonely and realized I wasn’t there anymore?” Nik looked down. “Or did you get horny and needed to get some and realized I wasn’t there to fulfill your needs, huh?!” Gia yelled. “Gia stop!” Nik yelled looking up at her. “What’s wrong Nikolas did I hit a nerve?” Gia yelled back. “You know what price, you messed up here and it’s going to take more than a sorry to fix it.” Gia stated.

Nik looked at Gia and knew she was right but he couldn’t just leave and let her stay here. “Gia just please come home with me and we can work things out.” Nik said reaching for her. Gia dodged him and shook her head. “Nikolas you need help, there has to be something going on here that you need to figure out.” Gia said. “I know Gia but I can’t do it without you.” Nik said. “Nikolas you don’t talk to me, maybe you should talk to a professional.” Gia said. “What you think I’m crazy?” Nik asked. “Of course not!” “Nikolas please just let someone help you.” Gia said. “I need you to help me Gia.” Nik said. “No Nikolas I don’t think you do.” “I’ve been there for you and you pushed me away.” “I think you need to get through this on your own.” Gia said. “Gia I don’t want to lose you.” Nik said with tears in his eyes. “Then get the help you need and you won’t.” Gia said, trying to hold back her own tears. “I think you should go Nikolas.” Gia said quietly.

Nik couldn’t leave like this. When Gia started to walk past him he grabbed her arm. “Gia I won’t leave here without you!” He said in a panic filled voice. Gia was shocked by his actions. “Nikolas I told you I’m not leaving!” Gia yelled. Nik grabbed her and tried to pull her out, Gia struggled to stay grounded. “Nikolas let me go!” Gia yelled. Nik continued to try and drag her out, with tears pouring down his cheeks. “Gia just!” Nik yelled, pulling her hard enough so that she was starting to move towards him. She struggled so hard, it was killing her arms that were clamped under his piercing fingers. “Nikolas let me gooo!!!” Gia screamed in an almost animalistic tone that made Nik instantly drop his hands. He watched in shock as she continued to scream bloodcurdling screams into the air, tears poured down her cheeks. Lucky ran up to her and wrapped his arms around her as she sobbed into his chest.

Nik walked up to them and tried to reach for Gia who turned her face away from him and clung onto Lucky tighter. “Gia.” Nik said in a whisper. Gia started freaking out and screamed again trying to get away from him. “Shh Gia don’t, you need to take it easy, it’s not good for you to scream like that.” Lucky said softly in her ear, this calmed her down slightly. Nik was confused by what Lucky just said. “Gia what’s wrong, are you sick?” Nik asked with concern. Gia calmed herself and looked up at Lucky who nodded for her to tell him, she turned to face Nikolas, never letting go of Lucky. “I’m pregnant with your child Nikolas.” Gia was barely able to get out. Nik was in shock. “Oh god Gia.” He whispered. Tears forming in his eyes again. “We’re going to have a baby?” He asked breathlessly. Gia nodded in response. “Gia that’s incredible.” Nik said with a smile spreading across his face as his tears fell. He reached out to touch Gia’s face but she pulled away. “Nikolas, I want you to be a part of this baby’s life but you need to make some serious changes.” Gia said. “You need to get some counseling, get some sleep and stop obsessing over this damn business.” She said. Nik nodded his head rapidly. “I will Gia a promise.” Nik said smiling. “Nikolas, I meant what I said, you need to work things out for yourself.” “Lucky and I are not having sex. He’s letting me stay here because he’s a good friend. When you get things straightened out you come find me and we’ll try and work on our relationship.” Gia said, now standing tall and looking him in the eyes. “Gia, I swear to you that I’m going to change, I’m going to be a great father to our child.” Nik said honestly. Gia's face softened and she nodded her head. Nik reached out and touched her cheek lightly, this time she didn’t pull away. “I’ll be back for you Gia, I love you.” Nik said. “I love you too, I’ll wait for you.” Gia said, surprising them both by leaning in and kissing him lightly on the lips. Nik and Gia smiled at each other and Gia watched as Nik slowly walked out of the apartment, closing the door behind him. Gia turned to Lucky and hugged him tightly.

As soon as Nik stepped out of Lucky’s apartment he reached in his pocket and pulled out his cell phone. “Hello, I need your help.” He said into the phone.
