Seth woke Gia up when he was leaving for work. She watched him get ready. Deciding to do the same, as she was pulling on her shirt, she suddenly remembered something. “Oh my god Seth, I totally forgot to tell you!” Gia as she jumped forward, startling him slightly. “Calm down G, geez. What did you forget to tell me?” Seth asked. “I got a job yesterday! I’m not really sure when I start or anything but I got one.” Gia said as she bit her bottom lip in excitement. “Are you kidding me?” Seth asked. “No.” Gia said hitting him playfully on the arm. “Oh I didn’t mean that you couldn’t get a job Gia, you know that. That’s great sweetie.” Seth said walking up and kissing her lightly on the lips. “Thank you.” Gia said smiling. “So are we going to celebrate?” Gia asked raising her eyebrows. “Sorry hun, I have to work all day today. Maybe you can get Nikolas to go celebrate with you?” Seth suggested. “Oh right Nikolas really knows how to party. I bet we would have so much fun together, please! He is so boring.” Gia said rolling her eyes. “Oh shut up Gia, you can’t get enough of him.” Seth said poking her in the ribs. Gia laughed as she poked him back, this causing a huge poking fight, which led to the inevitable, a tickle fight.

Downstairs, Nikolas opened the door and let his brother in, Lucky had called and asked if he wanted to go do something, Nikolas would do anything to get Gia off of his mind. “So what’s up bro?” Lucky asked as he walked in and headed for the couch. Nik walked over and fallowed him, running his hand through his hair lazily. “Nothing much man, I’ve got so much work to do, but I’ve been kind of distracted.” Nik said, sitting down on a chair by the couch. Lucky smiled at Nik. “Oh, distracted huh? I wonder who would be a distraction around here.” Lucky said grinning from ear to ear. As if she had heard them talking, Gia’s laughter filled the air. She came bounding down the stairs in pair of tiny button fly denim shorts and a white tank top. Her bare feet thudded all the way down the stairs and she ran to the couch in a fit of laughter. “Oh Lucky thank god you’re here, you have to hide me.” Gia said. She jumped over the couch and lay flat across his lap with a smile on her face. She smiled up at a shocked Lucky as she put her finger over hers lips, making a shushing signal. Nik watched the two interact, jealousy instantly coursing through his body. Gia hadn’t even acknowledged him, but she lay smiling up at his brother.

Seth quickly made his way downstairs and tiptoed up to the couch, Lucky heard him but Gia had not. Gia was shocked when both Lucky and Seth teamed up on her, tickling her stomach, Gia was laughing so hard she could barely breathe. “Come on Nikolas, help us.” Lucky said grinning at his brother. “No that’s OK.” Nik said shaking his head. He got up and walked into the kitchen, Seth and Lucky were the only ones who saw Gia’s quick change in moods. They let her go and she got up, sniffling as she wiped the tears that their attack had caused, fighting back the tears that she felt rising for different reasons. “Hey Nikolas, I think I’m going to head out. I forgot that I have to develop some film by tonight. Sorry, I’ll catch you next time.” Lucky yelled to his brother who was in the kitchen. Nik yelled back a quick OK before his brother headed out the door. Seth walked up to Gia and touched her face; he was going to have a talk with Nikolas if this didn’t get better soon. He saw his best friend's demeanor slowly begin to change, this was bothering her more Nikolas knew. “You OK?” He asked looking down at her. Gia nodded her head, she was lying, and Seth knew it. “OK, I’ll see you tonight.” Seth said kissing her and then leaving.

Nik was aware that he and Gia were the only ones home but he was grateful that she was staying out of his way. He was working on something Ned wanted him to get done, when he heard the radio turn on in the living room. He got up and stood in the doorway to find Gia dancing to a song. “What are you doing?” Nik asked. “What does it look like?” Gia said making a face. “Look, I really need to get this work done, can you stop dancing please?” Nik asked. “Nope.” Gia said shaking her head. “Gia this is my home and I said to turn it off.” Nik said. He walked over and started to turn off the music. “You’re so boring Nikolas.” Gia said glaring at him. Nik frowned. “No I’m not.” He mumbled. Gia’s eyes widened. “Nikolas you are the most boring person I have ever met, you don’t know how to have fun.” Gia said. “Yes I do, I have plenty of fun. Look I’m not supposed to have fun OK? I have responsibilities.” Nik defended. “Yeah responsibilities, whatever you’re still boring.” Gia said shaking her head, a grin appeared on her face. “Sit down.” Gia said, walking up to him and pushing him to sit on the chair next to him. You don’t want me, I’m sorry I didn’t get it before, but you’ve made it perfectly clear now.” Gia said, she once again tried to get off of him, and Nik once again pulled her back to him. “Stop Gia, listen to me.
