CH 8

Gia looked up at her cousin’s furious face and didn’t know what to do. She loved him and she knew that this would kill him. But she had to say something.

“Sonny, he saved me.” Gia said quickly.

“What?” Sonny was confused.

“Josh would have raped me if Nikolas hadn’t come in.” Gia said.

“Gia is that true?” Juan asked, and was horrified when she nodded her head sadly.

“I’ll kill him!” Juan said, standing up and heading to the door.

“Juan!!” Sonny yelled.

“You’re not going anywhere!”

“What the hell were you to doing in the same place a Cassadine?” Sonny asked.

“Well…we were at this party, and…” Juan stumbled.

“Where was it at Juan?” Sonny asked.

Juan’s heart was pounding. He was always trying to win Sonny’s approval but Sonny was always very hard on him. He didn’t want to do anything that would make Sonny mad and he knew this would make him furious.

“Where was it at Juan??” Sonny repeated when he didn’t receive an answer.

“It was at…” Juan started.

“It was on Spoon Island Sonny, it was all my idea.” Gia said.

“What??” Sonny yelled.

“Spoon Island!”

Gia nodded slowly and looked up, flinching when Sonny threw a glass at the wall, causing pieces to shatter everywhere.

“Sonny…Gia didn’t want to go there, it was me who made her go.” Juan said looking down.

He couldn’t blame this on Gia. She had been through so much tonight and he couldn’t add to her hurt. He knew he had to tell Sonny the truth.

“It was all my fault.” Juan said, quietly.

“Leave.” Was the only thing Sonny said to his little brother. Juan nodded his head and left. With only one thing flashing through his head. Josh was going to die.

“Sonny, please don’t be so hard on him.” Gia said.

“He didn’t make me go, I could have said no.” Gia said.

Sonny slowly nodded, he didn’t want to worry Gia any more.

“I’ll figure out what to do about Juan later.” Sonny said.

“Now tell me everything that happened.” Sonny said gently, sitting next to her.

Gia tolled Sonny everything that happened that night. He helped her get through the hard parts and hugged her to him after she was done. This was so much for him to take in at once. He hated the fact that Nikolas Cassadine was so kind to his cousin. But he vowed that he would never let him near her again. He knew that Nikolas didn’t hurt her but from what Gia tolled him, it sounded like he was a little too nice to her. This made him uneasy. Holding her tighter to him, Sonny rocked his cousin while she cried, like he did when she was a little girl. When she fell asleep in his arms, he carried her upstairs. He put her to bed in the guest room. Kissing her on the cheek he had only one thought going through his mind, this Josh guy was dead.
