Ch 6
Pounding on Sonny’s door Gia was out of breath from the run from the bus stop to the penthouse.
“SONNY!!!” Gia screamed, pounding on his door so loud that she thought her knuckles would fall off.
“Gia what is it?” Johnny said with concern when he opened the door.
“I need to see Sonny.” Gia said in a hurry.
“OK come in.” Johnny said moving to let her in.
“What’s going on down he…” Sonny started to say, but stopped when he saw Gia’s state.
Running down the stairs he immediately took a crying Gia in his arms to comfort her. After she sobbed her eyes out Sonny pulled away to look at her.
“What happened Gia?” Sonny probed.
“I, I was at this party and Zander’s friend Josh asked if I wanted to go upstairs with him.”
“I didn’t want to but I wasn’t having much fun and I didn’t want to make everyone else mad by wanting to leave so I let him take me upstairs.” Gia said, looking ashamed.
“Gia, did her hurt you?” Sonny asked and got his answer with the look on Gia’s face.
“He, he tried to rape me Sonny.” Gia confided.
“HE WHAT??” Sonny roared.
By the cut on her face, Sonny was expecting to hear that he had hit her but this made him beyond angry.
“I’ll kill him.” Sonny hissed.
Gia began to cry again and Sonny held her, they sat on his couch as Sonny rocked his cousin for comfort, whispering soothing words in her ear.
Juan ran downstairs to fallow Nikolas and Gia but had lost sight of them in the crowd. Then he saw a glimpse of Gia’s braids disappear into a doorway leading out of the back of the house. He ran to the hallway and stopped, seeing Nikolas leaning against the doorframe.
Nik slowly turned to face the boy he was raised to hate.
“Juan, you have to go to her.”
“She needs you.” Nik said quietly.
“You don’t know what she needs Cassadine!” Juan yelled.
“And swear to god if I find out you hurt her, I’ll kill you with my own hands.” Juan said sharply before he walked away.
Finding all his friends, Juan asked Zander to take everyone home and he would take the bus. He knew where Gia was and he had to get to her. Zander reluctantly agreed to take his friends home, Juan had tolled him what “happened” and he wanted to help. He thought of Gia as a sister and if she was hurt, he wanted to be there to help her.
When Johnny let in Juan, he found Sonny comforting Gia on the couch. He felt so helpless, he couldn’t figure out what was bothering her so much.
“Gia please, tell me what happened.” Juan said when he reached the couch.
“Did Cassadine hurt you?” He asked gently.
“CASSADINE!!” Sonny roared, looking down at Gia who looked petrified.
