CH 5
“Cassadine?” Gia
repeated.
Is he really a Cassadine?
Gia thought, pulling away from him.
Juan ran over to Nikolas and pulled him up
off of the bed, shoving him away from Gia
“What did you do to her?” Juan yelled.
“What the hell Corinthos!!” Nik yelled
back.
Nik was furious that he would come into his
room and tear him away from Gia. And how did this jerk know her anyway?
“You stay the hell away from my cousin,
Nikolas!” Juan yelled when Nik tried to reach for Gia again.
“Cousin?” Nik said. He was shocked,
could Gia his Gia, be a Corinthos?
“Nikolas!” Gia said with shock, shaking
her head. Pushing herself off of the bed, she walked past both boys. She had to
get out of there.
“Gia what did he do to you?” Juan
asked, noticing her shaken state.
“My god Cassadine if you hurt her, I
swear to god you’re a dead man!” Juan yelled.
Nikolas didn’t know what to think. He
couldn’t believe that this beautiful woman he was just with was one of his
family’s worst enemy’s. When she started to leave he wanted to stop her but
he couldn’t. So he just watched as her shaken form walked past him and headed
for the door.
Gia stopped dead when she looked at the
door and Josh came into view as he leaned against the doorframe. He was
breathing heavily and grasping at his side where Gia had kicked him. Gia’s
eyes widened and Nik saw this.
“Stay the hell away from her!” Nik
yelled as he pointed a warning finger at him.
“What the hell are you talking about Cassadine?”
Juan asked, confused.
Gia was frozen in her spot. Looking at Josh she could tell that she was in
trouble. He looked like he was going to rip her to shreds.
Looking over at Nikolas she knew he
wouldn’t let him hurt her again so she ran to him. Nik held out his arms for
her to run into, and he protectively held onto her.
Juan couldn’t believe his eyes.
“Gia stay away from him, you know what
his family did to us.” Juan said.
Gia thought about it and it was true, all
her life she was reminded of the pain his family caused hers. She reluctantly
removed herself from his embrace and moved over to Juan who was finally able to
hug his cousin.
“What happened Gia?” Juan asked.
Gia looked up and saw Josh staring at her.
“Nothing Juan, lets just go.” Gia said.
“Gia I think you should tell him.” Nik
said, looking at her.
“I can’t.” Gia said, shaking her
head.
“But Gia.” Nik said gently.
“Shut up, Cassadine!” Juan yelled.
Gia looked at Nik and begged him not to say
another word with her eyes. He reluctantly nodded his head in agreement.
“Here Gia, go with Josh and I’ll be
right with you after I talk to Nikolas.” Juan said, pushing her toward him.
Josh was holding his arms out with a seemingly warm smile on his face.
Gia resisted Juan's push, making it hard
for him to push her to Josh. Her mind was racing, what was she going to do. Josh
was looking at her with a pure evil grin.
“Gia what the hell is wrong with you?”
Juan asked.
“Go with Josh!” Juan was getting angry
with her.
Gia looked at Nik for help. Begging him
with her eyes.
Nikolas saw the panic in Gia’s eyes. He
was not about to break his promise to keep her safe because of who she is.
Extending his hand to her he looks into her eyes, telling her it was safe to go
with him.
“Come on, I’ll keep you safe.” Nik
said, gently.
Gia ran to him and grabbed his hand, they
ran out of the room. Nik pushed Juan and Josh out of the way and led Gia down
stairs.
“Gia!!” Juan yelled when they left,
running after them.
Nik led Gia to the back entrance of the
estate, where nobody even saw her leave.
“Run Gia!” Nik tolled her.
“Thank you, Cass.. Nikolas.” Gia said
with small smile.
“I’ll never forget this.” Gia said
and ran into the cold dark night.
Gia needed to get to the one place she knew
she would be safe. Running at top speed until she reached the bus stop, she got
there just in time to catch the bus.
