CH 7
Nikolas looked around the full ballroom and knew that this was his future, as prince of the Cassadine family; he knew that he would have to attend many functions just like this one. Business associates, clients, hopefully a few friends if he still had them. He looked over at Sarah; her arm was linked with his as he walked down the steps. Her lovely pale blue evening dress looked wonderful on her. They looked around the crowded room and spotted someone they knew, Lucky and Elizabeth talking with a group of people. They walked over to them and smiled at everyone. “Nikolas, how are you tonight?” Lucky asked. “I’m fine my brother, how are you?” He asked. “ We’re doing great.” Lucky said pulling Elizabeth closer to him. Nik nodded his head. “You two look so happy together.” Nik commented. “So do you two Nikolas, enjoy the night.” Lucky answered. Nikolas nodded his head as he smiled at his brother. He then turned around and scanned the room. He noticed couples on the dance floor. “Would you like to dance?” He asked Sarah.
And
I'd give up forever to touch you
Cuz I know that you feel me somehow
You're the closest to heaven that I'll ever be
And I don't want to go home right now
And
all I can taste is this moment
And all I can breathe is your life
When sooner or later it's over
I just don't want to miss you tonight
She smiled at him and nodded her head. They made their way over to the dance floor and began to dance. Nik quickly found himself in a haze, his body moving across the dance floor, people laughing and dancing around him. The speed of their dancing increased and Nik’s world was spinning.
And
I don't want the world to see me
Cuz I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
Suddenly Sarah disappeared, he
was still spinning and when he finally stopped in a dizzy haze, he saw her. She
walked down the steps toward him. She was in a studding floor length red gown.
It clung to her body as she moved; her perfect breasts were half exposed between
her low necklines. Her hair was up off of her shoulders in an intricate twist.
She kept her gaze on his eyes as she moved towards him. She reached out to him
and he quickly took her hand within his. They began to sway to the music; Nik
placed one hand on her bareback, he marveled in the feel of her skin, so smooth.
He closed his eyes and inhaled her scent, light and sweet. Her face was so close
to his, he moved his face so that it brushed up against her cheek, sending a
shiver of excitement to coarse though him. They moved together perfectly as they
danced. Nik opened his eyes and pulled back to look at her, wanting to memorize
her face, his eyes connected with hers. Her eyes were so beautiful, if he stayed
like this, his eyes locked with hers, he would lose himself in them. Nikolas
could feel her moving back, he tried to cling to her, not wanting to let go of
her, of this moment. Gia won the battle, breaking away from the comfort of his
arms. “I have to go.” She said softly. She turned and started to leave but
he grabbed her hand. “Wait, I don’t even know you’re name.” Nik said.
“It’s Gia.” She said before turning around and disappearing into a crowed
of people.
And
you can't fight the tears that ain't coming
Or the moment of truth in your lies
When everything feels like the movies
Yeah, you'd bleed just to know you're alive
And
I don't want the world to see me
Cuz I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
Nikolas awoke with his heart pounding and sweat on his forehead. He looked over at the woman on the bed next to him, he sighed when he saw that it was Sarah. He got up out of bed and made his way downstairs. His feet padded on the tile floor of the kitchen at Wyndemere. He got a glass out and got himself some water. Gulping it down in one long swig. He blindly sat down on one of the many chairs around the table. “Gia.” He said in a whisper. He smiled as he thought of her. “Gia.” He said again, slowly letting the word roll off of his tongue. He nodded his head as he smiled. “Gia fits her perfectly.” He said softly, unique and beautiful. He got up and walked over to the window and looked outside. He tried to remember his dream, every detail of it. It seemed so real; she seemed so real, how could she not be real? He thought about what Jewel had said to him. What if she was out there somewhere? Waiting for him to find her. He had always believed in fate when he was younger. He thought that the love of his life would just somehow find him. What if she was dreaming of him too? He sighed. Probably not, but he knew he needed to find out if she was real. Nikolas got up and walked back to bed, he decided that he was going to tell his brother about Gia. Maybe he could help him look for her. He closed his eyes, praying that he would dream of her again. But knowing he probably wouldn’t. He smiled, in his gut he felt he was right, Gia was out there and all he needed to do was find her.
And
I don't want the world to see me
Cuz I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
I
just want you to know who I am
I just want you to know who I am
I just want you to know who I am
