CH 14 Rated R (the good kind :o)

Gia quickly finished off her breakfast and popped some pills in her mouth. Gulping them down, she then quickly went over to the bathroom. She applied another coat of makeup under her eyes and took a deep breath. She grabbed her Social Studies book and rushed out the door.

“Gia you’re early.” Mrs. Smith noted. Gia smiled at the woman. “Yeah I know.” She said softly. Her teacher eyed her as she took a seat. “Are you alright?” She asked. Gia nodded her head weakly. “Yeah I’m fine.” She said softly. Mrs. Smith nodded her head and turned to her work. Gia knew it was a lie. It had been at least three nights of hardly any sleep. If she would sleep at all, she would crash, fall into a quick dreamless sleep. She drank so much coffee that she was constantly jittery and the pills she was taking made her nervous. She tried to focus on her schoolwork, and so far that seemed to be working. That and working with the kids at the center. Mrs. Smith seemed to be the only one who noticed her state. Not even Rory noticed her lack of sleep. As more students started coming in, Gia quickly sat up straighter and prepared for her class.

After a stop at the coffee shop for a blended mocha, Gia headed over to Homes For Hearts and entered the play area. “Gia!” Jory immediately called out when she saw her. Gia quickly picked her up and hugged her. “Hey sweetie, how are you doing today?” Gia asked. “I’m doing good! Me and Noah built a sand castle.” Jordyn said excitedly. “Noah and I.” Gia corrected. “No, I built it with him.” Jory shook her head. Gia laughed, for the first time in a long time. “Yeah you’re right.” She said. “What are we doing today Gia?” Noah asked as he ran up. Gia looked down at him. “Well, I brought a movie for you guys to watch. The Lion King.” Gia said. “Yay!” Noah cheered. “Movie day?” Jory shrieked. Gia nodded her head. “I’ll set it up Gia.” Spencer said as he grabbed the movie from her. Gia laughed and quickly went to follow him into the TV room. Gia sat down and started to watch the movie with all the kids. The truth was that she didn’t have the energy to do any kind of active play with the kids, and a movie was an easy way to keep them busy without having to do much. As the kids were watching the movie, Gia got up and looked out the window. Her eyes landed on the trampoline in the play yard and she immediately thought of Nikolas. She knew he must be terrified after their last dream and felt awful about that.  That dream used to be so frequent for her, it happened almost every night after the rape. But as time went by, she slowly started to dream about other things, mostly unimportant things. But then one night, he came to her, her knight in shining armor to chase the darkness away. Her dreams became filled with magic and passion, but in one moment, it was all ripped away from her. The moment she saw Kyle it was like he had never left her. What he did to her changed her life forever. Gia sighed sadly, wondering if she was fooling herself to think that some man in her dreams could take away all the pain that Kyle had caused her. Gia was pulled from her thoughts when she felt someone tap her arm lightly. She looked down to see Jory standing there looking up at her. “Jordyn why aren’t you watching the movie with the other kids?” Gia asked. “Gia, I think you need a nap. Why don’t we have nap time?” Jory asked. Gia smiled down at her. “I’m just a little tired sweetie, but I’m fine.” Gia said. Jory shook her head stubbornly. “No you look tired Gia, lets take a nap.” She insisted as she started to tug at Gia’s hand. “Jordyn I said that I’m fine now go watch the movie with the other kids!” Gia snapped. She immediately felt remorse when Jordyn began to cry. She realized that she was taking her frustrations out on Jory, a four year old, and she felt awful. “I’m sorry Jory, come here baby.” Gia said, holding her arms open. Jordyn wiped her face and then let herself be picked up, searching Gia’s face when she was at her level. “Why don’t you want to sleep Gia? Dreams always make you feel better.” Jordyn said. Gia was again amazed the Jordyn’s wisdom at her age. “Sometimes dreams don’t make you feel better.” Gia answered. Jory frowned. Gia could tell that she was too young to understand what she really meant. “I know.” Was all Jordyn said before she wiggled to get down. Gia watched her run back to the group of kids and take a seat next to Noah. She rubbed her face in her hands, suddenly feeling very tired.

Gia could tell by the look on her face that Rory was mad at her for something as soon as she walked in. She was sitting in the big comfy chair in the corner with an angry look on her face. “What’s wrong?” Gia asked. “Gia. Caleb told me about the other night. You’re seeing Kyle again? How could you not tell me?” Rory asked, standing to her full height. Gia was stunned. “I’m not going out with Kyle.” She barely was able to choke out. “Then why did you keep it a secret that he’s back in town?” Rory questioned. Gia felt nauseous, the lack of sleep and the emotional battle she was fighting was suddenly catching up with her. “You have no idea what you are talking about Rory so stop accusing me of something I didn’t do!” Gia yelled. Rory looked a little stunned. “God Gia, you have been so distant lately. It’s like I don’t even know you anymore. I don’t get why you won’t talk to me. What happened to you Gia? What are you hiding from me?” Rory asked desperately. “I was raped okay?! Are you happy now? Kyle raped me and I didn’t do anything about it because he promised he would leave. When I saw him at the restaurant it was the first time since it happened. Excuse me if I didn’t throw a party!” Gia shouted, her heart pounding at her sudden outburst. Rory had tears in her eyes as she looked at her best friend. “Oh my god Gia, I’m so sorry. Why didn’t you tell me?” Rory asked. Gia looked down. “I didn’t want things to change between us. I thought you would look at me differently, I don’t know. I just couldn’t tell anyone.” Gia said softly. “Do you want to talk about it?” Rory asked. Gia quickly shook her head. “No, I don’t. I don’t want to talk about it, or think about it. I just want to be alone. I just want to sleep.” Gia whispered as she walked away and went to her bed. She heard Rory leave and was grateful. She got under the covers and hugged her pillow. She just wanted something to make everything better. “I need you Nikolas.” She said softly as she closed her eyes, and slowly fell asleep.

Nikolas slowly opened his eyes; he looked around to see that he was in bed. He was saddened by this knowledge, thinking it was simply another morning, waking up with no dream to remember. But he soon realized that it was not his bed he was laying in. He slowly sat up, the white down comforter surrounding his torso snugly. It was a canopy bed, with soft sheer drapes at the corners. He looked around, looking for something recognizable. He realized that he had no idea where he was. He almost jumped when he noticed someone standing at the foot of the bed. He gasped when he realized that it was Gia. She was dressed in a knee length, white silk nightgown. His heart began to pound as she smiled at him, and slowly began to crawl up the bed to him. His eyelashes fluttered as she leaned in, and kissed him, softy at first but then parting her lips, and coaxing her tongue into his mouth. Nikolas moaned as he returned her kiss, but he reluctantly pulled back, wanting to look at her face. “Gia, I’ve been so worried.” He said softly. “I’m okay Nikolas. It happened a long time ago.” Gia answered. Nikolas shook his head. “I don’t think you’re okay. I need to get to you. I want to help you.” Nik said. Gia shook her head. “You can’t.” She said sadly. Nikolas touched her cheek, his eyes connecting with hers, getting lost in the glistening prisms of her teary eyes. “Your eyes are so sad.” He said softly as he leaned in to kiss her cheek. “I want you to make the pain go away Nikolas.” Gia said. Nikolas stroked a few braids between his fingers as he gazed at her. “I’ll do anything.” He breathed. “Make love to me.” Gia said, cupping his face in her hands and pulled his lips to hers. Nikolas greedily accepted her warm tongue in his mouth and sucked it, desperate to taste all he could of her. Gia fought back, circling her tongue around his, twirling, sucking, tasting. Nikolas pulled back breathlessly, his hands remaining on her neck and his face still close to hers. Gia barely waited a second before she moved her kisses from his lips, down to his chin and neck. Nikolas closed his eyes, leaning his head back to expose his throat, which Gia quickly devoured. Gia’s hands began to explore his body, his muscular bare chest, his arms, and his shoulders. Her tongue grew envy and she needed to taste him. She began to place loose kisses along his chest, finding a nipple and rolling her tongue around it, causing Nikolas to draw in a breath. “Gia.” He mumbled, pushing her back slightly. She looked at him, her gaze leaving him speechless. She smiled warmly, and got up on her knees, and in one fluent motion, she removed her silk nightgown and threw it to the floor. Nikolas gasped. “My god.” He breathed.  Her beauty stunned him; he had never seen a woman this gorgeous. Her body, a magnificent creation of god, every inch of her was perfection. She drew closer to him, hovering over his body, and with shaky hands, he touched her. First he slowly ran his hands down her neck, and then down her smooth shoulders, and finally, they reached her breasts. He caressed them tenderly, and Gia closed her eyes, consumed by the touch she had been craving for so long, gentle and loving touch. She moaned as Nikolas drug his rough thumbs over her nipples until they hardened. She leaned into him, offering a nipple to him. Nikolas moaned, opening his mouth loosely and pulling it into his mouth, licking it, tasting and feeling it with his tongue. Nikolas marveled in the sound of her soft moans and pants in his ear. He kissed his way over to the other breast, latching onto her nipple and sucking it harder, while gently toying with the other soft damp nipple between his fingers. Gia let out a sad moan. She placed her hands on his shoulders and gently began to push him back, so that he was laying flat on his back. Nikolas finally let go of her nipple and looked up at her. “I need this Nikolas. More than you know. I need you inside of me.” Gia said sadly. Nikolas frowned, his eyebrows furrowing with concern. He cupped her face in his hands, slowly pulling her face down towards him and pressing her lips to his. Gia opened her mouth to allow his tongue entry, and they soon found themselves lost in a needy, frantic kiss. Their frantic breaths were muffled, and soft moans and grunts were a quiet presence in the room. Gia pulled back, gasping for air, Nikolas’ opened mouth still rested on her chin, the feel of his breath on her face sending chills of excitement to coarse through her. Gia again pushed him back; she pulled the blankets away from Nikolas to find him completely nude. Gia’s eyes shone with tears as they danced along his brilliant form. Her mind working hard to study the way he looked, so that she would remember the image always. He was erect and begging to be touched. After what Nikolas felt to be a torturously long wait, she reached down and touched him. Nikolas gasped, his eyes reflexively clamping shut. Her touch was like nothing he had ever felt. Gia took him within her hands and she too closed her eyes, listening to the sound of his deep moans as she stroked the length of him. “Gia.” He choked out. Nikolas opened his eyes at the same time as she did. She had a smirk on her face. To Nikolas, the look on her face was purely devilish. He was excited by her torture, but felt himself weakening under her touch. Feeling like if she did this much longer, he would lose control. Gia leaned in. “I need you Nikolas.” She whispered in his ear, her cheek touching his. Nikolas nodded his head franticly. Gia smiled, placing her hands on his chest, she straddled him. Her body slowly lowered, until she was filled completely. She moaned deeply at the feel of him inside of her. Nikolas watched her face contort slightly, he thought for a moment that she was hurt, but her lips slowly curled into a smile. He gasped when she suddenly began to ride him, rocking her hips in a fast pace. He worked to meet her strokes, but she stopped him, wanting control and wanting to stay connected with him for as long as she could. Nikolas let himself relax. He absorbed himself in watching her. Her eyes were closed and her mouth was parted slightly, intent on what she was doing. His hands sensually worked their way up her body, touching her hips, and stomach, and then up to her breasts, caressing them in his hands as she moved. Gia slowed her rhythm and looked down at him, deep into his eyes. “Say my name.” She said huskily. “G..Gia.” Nik stuttered. Gia began to move faster again, this time Nikolas worked with her, wanting more than anything to bring her pleasure. “Gia.” He said again, through a panted breath. He began to chant her name as he moved. Again watching her face, his hips lifting off the bed franticly. He watched as her eyes began to roll back and her back arched. She looked down at him and he saw tears in her eyes, and fought back tears of his own. The look on her face was hard to describe, a mix of sadness and pleasure. Gia screamed when she came, a powerful cry erupting from her lungs. Her body shook, and fell down on top of his. She wrapped her arms around him, clinging to him as she panted. Her face was buried in the crook of his neck, her lips on his flesh. She slowly moved her mouth to his ear. “Thank you Nikolas.” She whispered, sending shivers up his spine.

Nikolas’ eyes shot open, his breathing was labored and his heart was pounding. He was wet and his body ached, fighting the sudden urge the thrust his hips. Reality started to sink in, and an ache in his heart arose as he realized that Gia was not in his arms. He slowly moved his eyes over to his side and his heart dropped when they landed on Sarah, her head propped up with her fist. She was looking at him intently. “Who’s Gia?” She asked.
