CH 18

Gia’s eyes fluttered open; they slowly focused on Nik’s sleeping face. His lips were curled in a small smile as he slept. Her mind started racing as memories of the night before came flooding back. Making love to Nikolas was like nothing she had ever felt before, not with anyone. Not even with Zander. Zander! Her eyes began to dance as reality slowly started sinking in. She had cheated on Zander with Nikolas last night. Panic began to fill her as she slowly pulled her head off of Nik’s chest. She reached around her and carefully removed his arm that was draped around her shoulders. She sat up and looked around franticly, she couldn’t cover herself up in fear of waking him. When she turned to step out of the bed, she felt his arm wrap around her waist, pulling her down to him.

Nikolas felt Gia stir on top of him but he kept his eyes closed. He was expecting her to try and pretend like nothing ever happened last night. He was preparing himself for a fight. He felt her head lift up from his chest and he felt his arm being lifted off of her shoulders. His eyes lightly flutter when she sat up. He squinted so that he could look at her without her noticing, he had the perfect view of her breasts, as they were inches from his face. He saw the look of panic on her face as she franticly looked around. She turned to get out of bed and that’s when he decided to make his awakened presence known. He wrapped his arm around her body and pulled her to him. “Where do you think your going Sparky?” Nik whispered in her ear as he nestled his face in her neck, kissing it lightly. “Hmm?” He murmured when she didn’t answer. He bent down and began to place soft kisses on her bare shoulder.

Gia shivered when Nik whispered in her ear. Her heart began to race when she felt his lips on her throat, then move down to her shoulder. She pulled away and turned her body so that she was facing him. She sadly began to search his face as she thought of what to say to him.

Nik was crushed by the look on Gia’s face. She looked so sad. He was expecting confusion, which he saw, but he wasn’t expecting sadness. He closed his eyes and braced himself for what she would say.

“Nikolas, last night was wonderful, I won’t lie and tell you that it wasn't but I don’t think it should have happened. I’m with Zander.” Gia said looking into his eyes when he opened them. Nik shook his head at her. Gia’s heart ached at seeing the look that was on his face. He was fighting her. “Gia, your wrong. Last night was supposed to happen. It was what we both wanted, you told me that.” Nik said, emotion seeping through his voice. Gia looked down and began to shake her head, but Nik reached for her chin and tilted her face up so that she was looking into his eyes. “Tell me that meant nothing to you and I swear I’ll stop now. Tell me you don’t want me and I will stop trying with you.” Nik said. Tears slipped down Gia’s face as she looked sadly at him. “Nikolas, please don’t make me do this.” Gia begged. Nik closed his eyes for a moment before he got up off the bed. “If you can’t tell me that you care for me then I’m done!” Nik yelled, pulling on his pants and moving towards the door.

Gia was shocked at Nik’s words; he was really ready to give up on her if she didn’t admit her true feelings. She quickly closed her eyes, she pictured Zander’s face in her mind and she searched her heart. She then pictured Nikolas's and did the same. When she opened her eyes, she noticed that her door was open, and Nik had walked out. Her chest heaved in panic and she shot up off of the bed. “Nikolas!!” She yelled as she ran to the door stark naked.

Nik looked at Gia sitting on the bed and knew she was making a decision, and he knew what it would be. He walked out of the door and waited, not a foot away from the door. He smiled when he heard her yell his name. When he turned around, he stood in amazement as he caught sight of her beautiful body as she ran towards him. He held his arms open and she ran into them.

“Nikolas I’m so sorry, please don’t go.” Gia begged as she clung onto him. She was sobbing now, Nik pulled back so that he could look at her. He pushed the hair out of her face and looked down at her tear-drenched cheeks. “Nikolas, I think I’m falling in love with you. Please give me another chance. I can’t lose you” Gia pleaded. Her eyes squeezed shut as relief washed over her when he smiled down at her. She quickly opened them again and looked up at him. “Gia, please stop crying, you don’t have to beg me Sparky. You have to know how much a care about you. Of course I’ll give you another chance.” Nik said. A bright smile spread across Gia’s face and she happily wrapped her arms around Nik’s neck. She pulled away from the hug and kissed him passionately, she gazed up at him when they pulled apart. “I’m so sorry Nikolas, I didn’t mean to hurt you. Last night was amazing and I wanted it more then anything.” Gia said. “I know Gia.” Nik said, his thumb lightly caressing her cheek. They held each other for what seemed like an eternity until Gia pulled back. “I need to take a shower, care to join me this time?” Gia said with an evil grin. Nik returned her smile with one just as devilish as hers, he nodded his head yes.

Water cascaded down their body’s as they stood in the shower. Locked in a heated kiss, Nik’s hands began to explore Gia’s body. His hands cupped her breasts as his mouth traveled down her neck, stopping when it reached a nipple and latched on. He sucked hungrily, shivering at the sound of the gasp that escaped Gia’s lips. Bringing his mouth up to her parted lips, he plunged his tongue into her mouth, moaning when she sucked on it. Nik suddenly pulled back from the kiss and dropped to his knees. He looked up at Gia and smiled before he gently spread her legs apart. He licked her womanhood, bringing his tongue back into his mouth to taste her juices. “Mmm tastes just like peaches.” He said as his lips curled into a sexy grin. Gia threw her head back and began to laugh but it changed into a scream of pleasure as Nik’s tongue plunged into her depths. They made love against the shower wall. Drained of their energy; they made their way back to the bed and fell back asleep.
