CH 10

Juan could see him from where he stood. He was playing basketball with his buddy’s and having a great time. The loathing he felt for him was immense. He wanted nothing more than to see him dead. He watched as the game ended. Feeling a tap on his shoulder he turned around.

“I came as soon as you called.” Zander said to his friend.

“What’s up?” He asked.

“Why are you watching those guys over there?”

“Oh hey there’s Josh, let’s go talk to him.” Zander said.

Juan grabbed his arm.

“That guys a dead man.” Juan said.

“What are you talking about?” Zander asked confused.

“He tried to rape Gia last night.” Juan said.

“No way man he would never do that.” Zander defended.

“Are you calling Gia a liar?” Juan asked enraged.

“No, you know I love Gia.” Zander said.

He looked over at Josh who was laughing with his friends and just knew that Juan was telling the truth. Josh was always talking about how he wanted to get with Gia and Zander always brushed it off. But he knew how he could get when he drank too much and if Gia just happened to be around when he was, it’s more than passable that what Gia said was true.

“He’s dead!” Zander stated.

“Why do you think I’m here?” Juan asked.

“Wait your not thinking about doing it yourself are you?” Zander asked and got his answer from the look on his best friends face.

“Look man you know Sonny will have someone do it for him.” Zander said.

“No I want to do it.” Juan said.

“Fine I’ll help then.” Zander said.

They watched as all of Josh’s friends left, leaving him to practice on his own. They started to walk up to him when out of nowhere a car pulls up. Two men who Juan knew to work with Sonny grabbed him and stuffed him into the car. They watched as the car sped off.

“Well that’s taken care of.” Zander said.

He and Juan walked off, both mad that they couldn’t be the ones to do to Josh what Sonny’s men were sure to do.
