“Mom,
it was just a party.” Gia said to her furious mother.
There
was a knock at the door and Juan opened it to find Sonny, he let him in and
closed the door.
“Sonny,
it’s so good to see you.” Flo said walking up to him, they kissed and Sonny
walked over to Gia.
“Where
were you last night baby girl? Sonny whispered in her ear when he went to kiss
her. Gia’s heart pounded as she thought about what to say. Luckily Flo
interrupted them so she didn’t have to answer, for now.
“Gia,
you are not going to get out of this now tell me what possessed you to go to
Wyndemere!” Flo said firmly.
“I
told you it was a party.” Gia said.
“Who’s?”
Flo asked.
“Nikolas
Cassadine’s.” Gia mumbled looking down.
“Gia!!
Are you alright, did he hurt you?” Flo asked.
“No,
mom!” Gia said.
“Oh
Gia, you have no idea how what kind of danger you could have been in. Hunny you
must stay away for those people, all of them. Do you hear me?” Flo said.
“Yes
mom.” Gia said, inwardly crying.
“Now
I know I just got back but I need to go check in at work. Come here baby.” Flo
said, extending her arms out for her to walk into and they hugged.
“I
worry about you baby. I just want to keep you safe. Flo said as she pulled way.
“I
know mom but I’m a big girl and I can take care of my self.” Gia said. She
glanced over at Sonny who was shaking his head no. When Flo left, Gia started to
head upstairs but Sonny stopped her.
“Gia
where were you last night? And don’t say with Courtney because I know
weren’t there.” Sonny said.
Gia
studied his face before questioning him. “You had me watched didn’t you?”
Gia demanded. Sonny didn’t have to say anything and Gia knew she was right.
“Sonny,
I told you I’m an adult and I don’t need your men watching me.” Gia said.
“You’re
avoiding the question Gia.” Sonny said looking her in the eyes.
“Johnny
said she saw Courtney with that Lucky kid (disgusted tone) last night and he
didn’t see you with them. Now where were you?” Sonny asked.
“Go
to hell Sonny, I don’t have to answer your damn questions!” Gia yelled. Her
bravery quickly faded at the look she saw on her cousin’s face.
“I’m
sorry.” She said looking down.
“I
just get tiered of having to tell everyone everything about my life. I love all
of you but I’m humane and I need to keep some things to myself.” Gia said
strongly.
“I’m
sorry Gia, your right baby girl.” Sonny said.
“Thanks
Sonny, I’m going to go change and then I’m going for a jog.” Gia said.
Sonny nodded and they hugged before Gia jogged up the stairs.
“Find
out where she was last night.” Sonny said, looking at Juan who nodded and
left.
