CH 21

Nik was cleaning his room when he found Gia’s black bra underneath his bed. He picked it up and brought the silky fabric to his face, softly rubbing it to his cheek. He couldn’t fight the urge anymore and brought it to his nose, inhaling her scent, it brought a smile to his face. God he missed her already. He couldn’t stop thinking about her. Nik suddenly realized how it would look if someone walked in and saw him. Sitting on floor in the middle of his room smelling a bra. He blushed at this thought and laughed quietly. He heard his name being called from downstairs and knew it was his brother here to see him. He tossed the bra in his closet and headed downstairs.

“Hey man, are you OK?” Lucky asked when his brother came down the stairs.

“Yeah, why?” Nik asked.

“I just feel like you’ve been a little I don’t know, distant lately.” Lucky said.

“Are you sure your doing OK?” Lucky asked, studying his brother.

Nik looked at his brother, well half brother. Could he tell him about Gia? They had only recently gotten to know each other. He didn’t even know him until he moved back to Port Charles but in the short time that they had known each other, they had become very close. Lucky was Nik’s best friend. He knew that he could trust him with anything. But part of him wanted to keep Gia to himself and not share her with anyone. He decided that he would tell his brother.

“Well the truth is Lucky, I met a girl.” Nik said shyly looking up at his brother as he rubbed the back of his neck.

“I knew it! Man who is she?” Lucky asked smiling.

“Her name is Gia.” Nik said.

Lucky scrunched up his face in thought.

“Gia, Gia why does that sound familiar?” Lucky asked.

“Oh my god, wait! Are you talking about Gia Corinthos?” Lucky asked in shock.

“Yeah, Gia Corinthos.” Nik said nodding.

“Is she who you were talking about the other day when you said you were love?” Lucky asked.

“Yeah Lucky, I’m in love with her.” Nik said smiling.

“I’ve never felt this way about anyone! I, I’m crazy about her. I just can’t stop thinking about her!” Nik rambled.

“But wait a minute. The whole time I’ve known you, you’ve told me about how your family hates that family. I mean we can’t even go to party’s if we know that one of them will be there.” Lucky said.

“I know, I know! But I had never met Gia before, I’d only heard about her and we met the night of the party. I’m telling you, it was love at first sight.” Nik said.

“Nikolas, that’s great. I’ve seen her before, she’s very beautiful but it just can’t work. Your families would never let you two be happy.” Lucky said.

“Lucky, it’s going to be hard I know. But I know in my heart that I’ve met my soul mate and I won’t let anyone stop us from being together.” Nik said, looking his brother in the eyes.

“Then let me know if there’s anything I can do to help.” Luck said.

“Thanks bro. I knew I could count on you.” Nik said. He walked over and hugged his brother. Thinking of what his next move was. He had to see Gia again.
